Chris Chan's first role in television, that may never be released

Yeah, this is faker than that fake Mortal Kombat girls show. I know everyone's said this already, but Chris doesn't have the self-restraint not to immediately talk about getting a TV gig.

Also, nobody's pointing out the John Madden thing? Really? He's like 90 and doesn't do publicity stuff any more really. How would they even get a contact for him?

I take this as the Executive “Fuck you” for his MLP Generation 5 protests.

These suit and tie figure heads talk. Turner Executives talk to Mattel Executives who talk to Sony Executives who talked to Hasbro Executives.

If Chris hadn’t sperged about My Little Pony, this opportunity and several others could have happened.

theres something else afoot here. its probs his unfortunate direct affiliation with the forum.

The show was ordered for a season and [adultswim] hasn't said shit so far about cancelling it. I highly doubt the show is going to get cancelled. The boys mesh just fine with SJW's, a lot of them are pretty liberal dudes. They may have offensive senses of humor but so does adult swim. I bet it got delayed like hell because of COVID, if YOLO also got picked up that means that the show co-creator is going to be busy with YOLO and Smiling Friends at the same time. I'm sure we'll see it eventually, doomposters.

Damn, I was really hoping smiling friends got picked up. Oh well, guess I'll just watch some anime shit. Vivy it is.

Reactions: Mr. Awesome Man
I wonder if anyone tried to tell that he was to featured in a cartoon. That has been his dream to be featured in anything. He has been dreaming to get into Hasbro, SEGA or featured in ANYTHING.

I'm not familiar enough with 4chan leaks to judge the veracity of OPanon's claims but on the other issues:

1. Chris has shown some ability to keep things private in the past. "Secret" might not be the correct word but he at least refrains from talking about them unless prompted, especially if they're potentially negative. He kept his debts secret from his parents as often as he could and he also didn't blab about backing in to a truck until it was noticed in a picture.

Over the years Chris has developed some defense mechanisms against trolling and at times applies an almost unhealthy cynicism toward people who engage with him. I could see him being in talks with a show and being very hesitant to speak publicly about it in case it ended up being another troll attempt.

2. PL but I unfortunately have some small insight in to AS/WS. I grew up in the northeast of metro ATL and know/ew a few people who ended up working there and a couple of others who worked on TWD. I imagine that that area is also where many people working at WS live and hang out, places like little five points or Decatur. Not to get political but if you're familiar with Jon Ossoff he's pretty representative of the sort of people in that area. Lots of old volvos and saabs, people wearing sandals with pants, and shitty fusion food restaurants. It's full of the kind of people who somehow support both abortion and veganism, love wine and homosexuality, and think they're special and better than everyone else because they have very standard and predictable liberal beliefs. My acquaintances at AS/WS are all mega-faggots but it's not their fault, it's the environment.

The one guy who really comes to mind was a childhood friend. His parents were wealthy and he had, at least from the outside looking in, a very comfortable and uneventful youth. He ended up attending an expensive art school where tuition is $50k a semester and did freelance stuff before landing at WS. I stumbled on his personal website a while back and he'd tattooed his entire body with some of the gayest and shittiest stuff I've seen and was selling himself as some kind of rough whiskey-swilling rebel. His FB is full of your standard ACAB, anarchist, Trump-lamenting drivel.

The others are more or less the same.

My sample size is small but I believe it's large enough to be representative of an outfit that would cancel MDE and give us Lazor Wulf.

Seeing as how some people now like to act that people who know about CWC or give him any small shred of attention are bullies, transphobes, or just outright Nazis I could definitely believe that the folx at WS would nix a show like this.

What part of "confirmed hoax" and "Nobody who cares about their reputation would work with Chris" do you not understand?

Theres also quite a few rumors of pretty much all projects at AS being halted and nothing new being greenlit due to some restructuring AT&T have done to all the entertainment divisions.

Even if true, I'm surprised Chris didn't chimp-out because his character animation isn't that of a Beautiful Godes. He would gladly said something earlier if he saw how he was drawn. Also, like everything else, it would have taken Chris some effort to record dialog, given he just sits on his ass, but yet flubs his lines because of the 'tism.

This leak is fake. It was actually Doug Walker that was going to play the role, but he started beef and got the show cancelled because he was chewing Doritos into Zach’s keyboard.
Doug also wouldn't stop bringing in his friends to do live action skits, at the protest of everyone else in the production team, and Doug also demanded that they have a wacky lol-so-random advertisement in the middle of a episode to talk about Stamps.com
