Most likely she might be scared it might have implications with his social security and the fact she can't use his name anymore on current debts she has. Of course this is just theory, she might just be mad becasue in her words "she didn't raise a daughter"

While Chris doesn't really seem to respect other transpeople when they're opposing him(i.e him calling out "Francine" to be passing poorly), he's doing the right and proper thing in regards to keeping his desire to transition as something he's not forcefully shoving down other people's throats.
He's happy living as a mockery of a woman and doesn't try to word-police other people so I wish all the best for him.

The thing with Chris is, he has always felt comfortable with females, his high school gal pals, Megan, all the fake troll girlfriends. He has always been happy and relaxed around them, however with men (excluding Bob) he has always been on edge or in a fight with them. In Chris's mind being female makes sense, he will be happy, he will be relaxed, he will be able to get closer to girls. Of course the problem comes when he adds his own sexual fantasies to this and it changes from just a guy who wants to be liked to a guy who wants to be liked to have sex with them.
