Containment Chris in the Media - Mentions of Chris in different medias

What's next? An appearance on the talk show circuit for Chris? Let's all praise "her" for being such a brave shero and hiss at all the meanies who have trolled him.
Better yet. Let Jerry Springer fabricate a love triangle between him, a land whale, and a redneck piece of trailer trash.

Chris has a ton of dumb luck in my opinion. His genes aside he's continually winning different contests, he got to have his pal-pals (-for-hire) in high school, he got on honor roll, got accepted to college, made the dean's list DESPITE being suspended, he got the SSI that he may or may not qualify for and his run-ins with the law has never amounted to anything. He'll mutter in insults under his breath, go to the women's bathroom, act and dress flamboyantly and being a public nuisance in general and, again, has never had to face any repercussions.

Yeah, he has shitty genes and his family situation was never good, but I'd say that considering what he was born with, Chris has been pretty damn lucky IMO.

I'm sure to get some A-Log rates for saying this, but that dumb luck has to run out sometime. He's already been banned by most establishments in town, he has an arrest record, and it seems most Jerkops in town know him by his first name. He will end up in front of a judge again sooner or later, and he's already got two strikes.

"He's already got two strikes"

No he doesn't. He has two minor misdemeanors, neither of which count towards any of Virginia's three strikes laws. If Chris ever gets a serious sentence it'll be because he commits a truly serious crime.

All you niggers need to stop hyperbolizing Chris's rap sheet. There are teenagers with way worse criminal records than what he's got.

I meant that as that he has two priors for assaulting store owners/employees. They may have been pleaded down, but the arrests still remain on the books. If Chris keeps getting arrested for spraying at store employees, no doubt the Prosecution or at least the judge will see the common factor in the priors and say "Why in the world do you keep attacking people in stores, boy?".

Twice in 5 years (and over 2 years since the last time) isn't even going to get noticed. Half the people in court have been arrested for low level assaults twice in a couple of months.

This. Chris is anything but a frequent flyer. The ones who the judges start hassling are the guys who get arrested so often they can't even remember specific events.

I think Chris has the potential to become a more frequent flyer, given his varying stress level. With the landslide about to occur, only time will really tell.

also lol "online begging service" this seems like a ruse man I dunno about you

These articles being released on the same day got me thinking. Has Chris ever been put into the mainstream media? I mean, there are references here and there, but what happens if this leads to a segment on CNN/MSNBC and Chris''s wild antics are displayed on a national forum? Would this lead to the 15 minutes of "fame" saga?

Painfully, I'm imagining a "Joe the Plumber" scenario, where he'll be the new hot topic for awhile.

Hicks was pro-Gamergate and I'm kind of surprised that the article didn't try to contrast how Zoe Quinn's allegations of harassment blew up within days while Chris' harassment went on for years as a geek in-joke and no one cared.
