As I said, the sheer volume of how many new people are discovering Chris likely contributes to a lot of this. Chris's reasons for why he claims to have become trans, in which case he's certainly more deluded about it than anything else, are not very obvious without prior knowledge of his Lovequest, his beliefs on women, and his beliefs on gender. As far as I know, those are not quite as well known to the newcomers yet.

Any social movement is gonna have some extreme pendulum swings before settling into the stability required for a true Overton Window shift, it's the price of the game.
