What's that thing under Chris's shoe? It looks like... I don't even know. Scrub brush shoes?

I think it's supposed to be a stone that's half underground...

Yeah it took me a while to figure that out, as I also thought it was supposed to be be part of his shoe, but I decided it has to be a rock... Who knows why it's a different type of rock to the cliff though...

That does look surprisingly not terrible, although I can't unsee the fish lips now. Thanks a pissing lot! :-P
I think it was @He Sets Me On Fire that brought up that they were all wearing lipstick. That's how I've seen it ever since.
Anyway, here's mine.
Patti_and_moon.jpg

I don't like this ironically, I genuinely like this.
I think this is the best art Chris has done or ever will do. The top panel is drawn nicely, it's a dog facing away and looking up, there's no other interpretation that's due to poor drawing skills.
The second panel is more than just a moon, it's Patti's POW. If you put these two together it's showing Patti looking at the moon, and given Chris's usual failure of "show don't tell" (MAKES GUN DO A 180), it's refreshing for him to do something like this.
Too bad it's ruined in the comic with the line "MY RUMP'S SO ITCHY."

Whew... favorite Chris art? That's a tough one. He's had so many, many images varying from complete and utter insanity to mindboggingly disturbing stuff.

I guess for now, I'd go with his magnum opus:
856.jpg
This image is simply amazing. The completely fucked anatomy on Chris, the incomprehensible dialogue and the what-the-fuckery of Wes-Li powerballing down on them... Even the background devoid of any major details, the composition.
I don't know, for some reason, this is the first image I think of when I think about 'Chris art'.
Totally agreed. Discounting the panels that require his own written narrative to get through, and panels with no background (a surprising lot of those throughout Sonichu), I'd have to say this is the single most Chris-channish art I've ever seen. It encapsulates pretty much everything wrong with his work in one image.
His medallions are just too mediocre for me to think of them as best-or-worst, but I did have a laugh at the angry-face one he sent to Mr. Smith.

I'd say his most impressive was that "My Mind is a Blank" one he posted on FB. It was something different from him and he actually conveyed what he meant to. I was actually surprised when I first saw it.

If we're posting our favourites, though, mine would have to be this:

I giggle every time I see this. It's like the Zapdos has just run into a huge pane of glass.

Hahaha, that one's epic. I specially like the redrawn version of that page from gabmonteiro9389's Sonichu remake:

I honestly and truly don't mind Zapdos in this drawing.. maybe I'm biased because I love Zapdos? (granted, the other ways he drew Zapdos were... hilarious.)
At least this mall isn't graced with a palm tree for him to distort!

Oh I know about the fish lips! I had never seen it that way (I always saw it as intended with the mouths open)...but now that someone pointed it out I can't unsee it either :(
Doesn't manga/anime get away with that anyway?

For me it's this one:

CWCVictoryForIvy.jpg

The execution was terrible but I liked the concept. I feel this is one of his better mid-Sonichu works. I submitted a remake of it in the fanart thread (which can still be improved upon, admittedly).
I'd still give him the Popeye-ish forearms though!

I'm fairly sure it means Sonichu is actually a dinosaur
Just like the Sonic franchise!

I literally registered an account because everyone seems to be missing his intent with the "stone age" line. It doesn't make a lot of sense in execution, but I am willing to bet a sizable chunk of money that his intent was for it to be an exaggerated version of "You don't need to tell me now, but yesterday" as in "You can't tell me to run away soon enough."

Not saying that it was particularly articulate, but I'm confident that was his intention.

While I do my best to avoid looking at Chris's art as much as possible due to how awful it is. I would have to say that the cover of Sonichu 0 is probably, at least to me, his most 'impressive' work (and I use that fairly loosely). I don't know why, but the whole image of him pointing at some random direction and telling his sonic recolored character to 'go and zap to the extreme' has a very bizarre kind of appeal to me. The whole picture itself COULD work if it was better done, and maybe used in a figurative/metaphorical sense of a creator telling his creation to go do something awesome. It would be like if a comic artist was overlooking his comic world and telling his characters to kick ass or something.

Again, it isn't the image that's impressive, it's the idea behind the image. I'm fairly confident that many artists/writers/whatever who feel a strong connection to their creations (and many do) often felt the same way. It's a pity it was such a piss-poor execution of what is actually a pretty good idea.

We can't expect brilliance out of Chris, can we?

Are there any examples of art/work Chris created at college? Shouldn't there be some sort of CADD project? I can't find any examples on the cwciki though.

They're in the "External Links" section.

Those plans do look distinctly more professional and impressive than most of Chris's other artwork, but then again that could probably just be because Chris was using software which does most of the work for him.

Chris produced one known CADD project during his time at PVCC; the CWCville mall, which consists of two floors for the shops and a gargantuan Mayor's Office on the top floor. They're linked at the bottom of http://www.sonichu.com/cwcki/CADD
In Mumble 5, Chris mentioned that he got an A+ for the mall project, but a failing grade for "previous projects before that one. One or two." We don't know what those projects are, or if they even existed.

That's a remarkably bad layout for a mall. Too much open space in the middle. Looks like he tried to emulate the poor design of fashion square mall and had poor spatial memory of it and then decided to go double decker, despite not including any escalators or elevators to reach that level. About the only thing he did right was put the anchor stores at somewhat opposite ends.

Wouldn't surprise me if it's that foolproof. If Chris was taking the kind of drafting class I had in high school, he'd literally give up!

I often wonder how much of this was to compensate for having a basic, crappy mall to go to in the first place? I know the feeling, my town never got anything beyond single floor structures with 2-3 story anchors, I always wanted something like Dearborn's "Fairlane Town Center" down here.

I love that sloppy drawing he did of Cwcville, just because of the last line. If anyone else drew that and bragged about how accurate their measurements were I'd assume they were being sarcastic or ironic.

When I was just starting out in this whole Chris-Chan thing, I thought that line really was some sort of sarcastic troll commentary on Chris' drawing skills. Little did I know...
