People still celebrating nine months after it happened.

I’m still so glad he spent the momentous day behind bars. He deserved it.

remember when people thought christ wouldnt make it past 30?, lolcows are resistant like roaches
Christ died at 33. Chris comes from two parents who lived long lives. I mean, look at Barb, still truckin.

Who would have thought, that years back people were thinking of scenarios with where Chris would be once he turned 40. From homeless to actually getting his life together. Those who said in Jail got it correct but sadly not for the correct reason.

Happy 40th Birthday Chris.

In Virginia, class work with live firing is required, so no, most likely not. I don't know the particulars of the application but certainly not anymore after his involuntary incarceration at Western. Chris cannot (legally) purchase a firearm, ever, let alone get a CCW.

Still, a sick part of me is interested in the Chris Chan and his Gun Saga.
I'm willing to bet my left nut that God-fearin', red-blooded Bob had a gun at some point but sold it because Chris turned out to be special. Or it's still buried under the hoard somewhere.

41 is right around the corner, and that one actually makes me even more sad. you aren't really IN your 40s until like, it's not a milestone thing now.

He's fucked forever holy shit. My brain always thought on some level he was going to settle into a sane routine and fade from the limelight. I didn't know that I would actually be right, only that it would be as a wo-man in his 40s that raped his mother. Jesus what a world.

Given that Chris loves to 'command' attention, I don't think he was ever going to settle and fade from the limelight. He's convinced himself that he's a 'celebrity' for being "Famous on the Internet" for the wrong reasons. Chris' ego will never let that go, and he is willing to invite the same bad influences that got him found (and arrested) in the first place.

It's seems like that will happen, but it will be against Chris' terms. If this autism deferral plan goes through, and according to the judge, prosecutors, and Chris' own attorney, Chris will have little to zero internet access and he will indeed fade away into obscurity. I've said this before, but Chris thinks his life will end with a bang, but instead will end in a whimper.

One of Barb's previous husbands, Jerry, owned a .25 caliber revolver which Cole would play with between the ages of 8 and 10. Barb nearly struck him with a ricocheted bullet while trying to cock the gun when a burglar was attempting to break down their door. When Barb and Jerry broke up, I assume he took his gun with him.

I would expect Bob to have familiarity with firearms due to his military experience, so he might have owned one. Barb threatened suicide to manipulate Chris and Cole. A gun would certainly be a means of suicide but there are plenty of others, and usually when women attempt suicide they use less effective methods like pills.

At the time of the pepper spray incident, Chris still had the Megatron pistol, which is realistic enough to be threatening. I wonder how things would have turned out differently if Chris had been brandishing that thing instead of assaulting a Gamestop employee with pepper spray.

Well, that's what Cole said. In his Saturday Night Special article on his film critic blog. Let's just say I consider Cole an unreliable narrator. I wouldn't put it past Barb to do something that dumb but I wouldn't put it past Cole to embellish a story beyond recognition.

40 years of suffering.

That's the "good ending:. Chris' antics always escalate. Could you imagine something worse that Barbussy Gate?

I don’t wish what happened to her on anyone. I will also say that she has reaped what she sowed. Additionally, having Chris around as her helper monkey wasn’t suffering. She had things pretty much exactly the way she wanted them.

Could you imagine something worse that Barbussy Gate?
Given Chris’s lack of empathy and refusal to understand the concept of appropriate touching, yes, I can imagine worse.
