I wonder if he's going to be homeless for the rest of his life, if he gets out of prison.
I doubt it. There'll be some white knight ween somewhere who'll put him up somehow. Or the state will be forced to do something, either way, I don't think he'll be homeless homeless for the rest of his life. Maybe for a week or two at most.

If we're lucky, we'll get a nomad arc. Chris vlogging himself bumbling into hotel lobbies and asking for a place to stay, terfed out of many, but pitied by few. That'd be interesting.

One of Barb's previous husbands, Jerry, owned a .25 caliber revolver which Cole would play with between the ages of 8 and 10. Barb nearly struck him with a ricocheted bullet while trying to cock the gun when a burglar was attempting to break down their door. When Barb and Jerry broke up, I assume he took his gun with him.
Slight side tangent, but are we sure it's a .25 caliber revolver and not a .22? 25 acp is a odd caliber to say the least; it fits the story in that it's prone to ricochet, but the only revolver I can think of that uses it is the Velo Dog Revolver made by the Belgians.

From what I hear Chris is still writing to people. He just isn't writing to anybody NOT PART of Praetor. He must've got told shit by his lawyer stating he should stop incriminating himself to untrustworthy people. Not saying that anyone here is untrustworthy, but that's probably what the lawyer would have said and defined as untrustworthy.

For Barb

That's the "good ending:. Chris' antics always escalate. Could you imagine something worse that Barbussy Gate?
Yes but if I do I'm afraid it will happen just like @Mariposa Electrique imagineered Chris raping his mom by saying he was going to do it.

So I try to keep my mind from going in those directions.

He said it was a .25 and he used a picture of a .25 in the blog post, plus the original "Saturday Night Special" that gave the term its name was a .25, so I think it probably actually was one. It would be a weird, specific detail for a soylord like Cole to use just at random.

Well that's very informative, and I'm glad to know that we at least have a accurate record of such a thing. I agree that Cole doesn't strike me as a gun guy, unless he's hiding his hobby really well, with the details he's provided, it seems sufficient to trust him. And yes, blurting out .25 caliber or 25ACP, even when in a gun store looking for one, will give you odd looks as not many new production models roll off the lines any more- most of that demand was killed with a import ban of so called "Saturday night specials" with a law during the late 60's with a caliber up to 380 acp. Ok gun sperging over lol.

This butterfly must be extremely powerful. I hope Mariposa imagagineers Chris behind bars forever with a big, black dude named Earl.

This has bugged me as well and I think what he most likely had was a Rohm RG-66 or something like it which was a .22....especially think this because if it was .22 LR it would explain why the wild ricochet. There were tons of Ring of Fire guns chambered in .25 ACP but they were all semi-automatics.

Gun sperging or not Cole was young and is also a retard so I'm going to assume he is wrong.

Ok my gun 'tism had activated, so bear with me and feel free to correct me when needed. It seems like the Rohm RG-66 was in both 22LR and 22 Magnum, and was a cheap gun. Kind of fits how barb would have been living with her husband at the time. As for 25 acp, I only found the one above, and it seemed to be a animal killer like for a vet more than anything if judging by the name. 25 acp I will say is known to ricochet, due to the speed, low energy, etc and is relatively weak. 22 has a better track record honestly than 25. But again, 22 would make sense, it ricochet like crazy. I've provided a image of the RG-66 you mentioned.

I have to concur that its extremely unlikely they had a .25 acp revolver.

Aside from the Belgian Velo-Dog revolver I've only managed to find one other example of a wheel gun in .25acp and it is a one of a kind Smith and Wesson.

So if they had one it would have had to have been a Velo-Dog. Is it impossible that Barb's ex had an obscure Belgian revolver? No, its not impossible but is extremely unlikely.

I posit these alternative possibilities.

It was not a revolver and Cole is misremembering.

It was not in .25acp

He's calling it a saturday night special because thats what either Jerry or Barb referred to it as.

While the term Saturday Night Special is often closely associated with .25acp caliber the two are not mutually exclusive. Being a Saturday Night Special had a lot more to do with the gun being of small size and easy concealability than it did a specific caliber. It was broadly used for guns ranging from .22 all the way up to .32 and sometimes even .380 if you're pushing it.

My money is on it being a .22lr, or even a .22 short, revolver that either Jerry, Barb, or both referred to as a Saturday Night Special due to its small size.

He's Cole Smithey. Just that by itself should add up to he's a retard and everything he says is wrong.

Plus, even worse, he hated Toy Story 3, that's literally his only claim to fame.

I think it might have been the third if anything. Those guns were quite common back then, and the fact that Cole, out of anyone, brought up 25 caliber/ 25 acp, is a very specific detail when saying 22 would be what I would have expected, since basically everyone knows what a 22 is that's even vaguely familiar with firearms, including your step-dad owning one. And the fact he called it a Saturday night special. The term is kind of around today, more in reference, but it was alive and well for a specific group of firearms back then.

Seems reasonable to conclude that he remembered the term they used, looked up "Saturday Night Special" on Google since he was writing an article and wanted to sound knowledgeable, found some source that made it sound like all SNS guns were .25acp, and didnt dig any deeper because he thought knowing the caliber was enough to sound like he knew what he was talking about.

For his audience it probably was.

Either of our conclusions could be right. I did find a  few more .25 ACP revolvers, but they're absolutely ancient, im taliking 1913, and wouldnt be considered a saturday night special. A .22 would be more likely, either 22LR or 22 magnum if we assume its the RG-66, since it could swap cylinders. I'll admit my conclusion is more of a stretch, since while Cole may know nothing about guns, not knowing what a  revolver is, is actual signs of brain damage. I own a revolver, and I can tell you, it's far different than a Glock or 1911 in every aspect. So with this conversation in mind, is it fair to at least call Cole's story into doubt unless provided with evidence to the contrary?

At the time of the pepper spray incident, Chris still had the Megatron pistol, which is realistic enough to be threatening. I wonder how things would have turned out differently if Chris had been brandishing that thing instead of assaulting a Gamestop employee with pepper spray.
I would guess one out of two things:

1. Chris would miss the employee and the shot would ricochet and hit someone else
2. Chris would literally shoot himself in the foot.

There is a similar gun to the picture he used in the Wikipedia article, but they're not the same. It hardly matters, whether or not Cole is an unreliable narrator, because I just don't buy the story in general.

happy birthday chris.
here is to another 40 years, can't wait for the de-transition olympic lifter arc out of jail.
If Chris was able to actually persist with weightlifiting to the point he had definition in his arm muscles it’d be a miracle.

The closest I think we’ll see to a detransition is if another autistic-bait fandom comes along that’s as big as MLP was and he puts gender to the side so he can focus on drawing himself as a dinosaur transformer or whatever.

Chris is only 40, with his health track he might live another thirty years, maybe even forty.
Think on how much has changed in your life during that time. Might be a literal cure for autism by that point.
The irony, Chris turns 75 and has his autism cured just to die a year later.
