I'm from Pensacola so I'm well aware of PCC. I'm also a Christian, but I would have never gone there for numerous reasons: not properly accredited, restrictive rules on how to live your life (for example, you can only listen to church music or classical music), theological disagreements, etc. When I was in college, I had a coworker -- a very sweet girl -- who told me I should go there. She said it was beautiful and peaceful and "like being in another world". I think I told her I would think about it to humor her.

I drive by the PCC complex when I go across town sometimes and it's pretty big. I heard they have an ice skating rink, of all things to have in the hot, humid South! But to me, the amenities aren't worth giving up your personal freedom.

I know conservative Christians in my college (the first one I went to) actually begged the dean of the art department to not have to take the life drawing class. Basically, they thought any lust you get is automatic cheating on your future spouse.
