I can't imagine that they celebrated Christmas at all, especially after Bob died. They have no one but eachother to celebrate it with. That should make me feel sorry, but given who they are, I just can't give a fuck.

Every day is Christmas at the Chandler house!

Literally. The decorations have been up for years.

Best case scenario: Barb was given Maple Nut Goodies, Chris was given the same knockoff Lego police station he always gets.

Didn't Bob put his foot down on Christmas in the Chandler household years ago any way? Up until a point, Christmas for the Chandlers was centred entirely round a certain entitled manbaby, and Borb just bought him shit because they were expected to.

I'd like to think that 20+ years ago, the Chandlers celebrated Christmas like normal people. They had friends and family who still gave a shit, they lived in a house where one could walk from room to room without squeezing round a pile of dollar store crap or slipping on dogshit, and their child was actually at an appropriate age to have childrens toys given to him by "Santa Claus"

That picture of Bob and Chris in Christmas always makes me sad. Seeing how old Bob was when Chris was little, like Chris could've been his grandson...the possibilities of what could've been if only Chris had gotten proper help for his autism at this age...

The tree has been up since Christmas 2000 and McDonalds (for the most part) are open so I'm sure it's business as usual for Charb.

In all honesty, if I could choose to get coal for Christmas, I would. Coal sells for a good price, and if I'm lucky, it could be pressed into diamonds.

Everyday for the Chandlers is like the day before with just a few variables. Everyone has already said what they may have done today. They may have watched some holiday programs and gave each other some dollar store gifts, but besides that, not much different happened today.

And yes, Chris most likely *SIGH* 'ed that Santa didn't bring him a Boyfriend-Free Girl and that the CWCki and the forum are still up with lucrid mockeries (anything Chris doesn't like).

Only Santa decides to drop off Cole instead, trolling all three of them at once.

But its fun to speculate. :heart-full: AUGH YEAH

Like others said, I'm sure it was just like any other day. They probably did watch a holiday themed show or parade on TV, but that'd be the extent of any celebrating. They had McDonald's or some pre-made TV dinner and there is obviously a 0% chance that any real cooking would be done in that kitchen. I bet they both did acknowledge that today is Christmas, but didn't go to church to celebrate, as Borb didn't attend even when Bob went. I can't see Chris having the initiative to go himself, and what church could he go to anyway (lol)? No presents were exchanged, as both are too lazy and selfish to continue that tradition now that Bob's gone. If anything, Borb gave Chris cash to get something for himself and he gave her something shitty and homemade. I'd bet they did at least get a mass mailed generic Christmas postcard from someone though, but again, no presents.

Agreed, and I can also see Bob being the lynchpin for everything. I'd bet that every year though one less thing would be included in their Christmas tradition. Not much is known about his Christmas's since 2008 (where he only got a couple DVDs, no lavish playsets like the years past) and we'd probably know if he had gotten anything decent.

Just so you know "Borb" refers to both Barb 'n Bob. If it's just Barb then it's Barb.

Anyways. I don't think Barb gave anything to Chris other than a guilt bitch so he'd do whatever she wanted him to do today. And Chris blamed Megan, Snyder, and us for his lame Christmas today.

We can't say for sure what the Chandler househorde did for Xmas. I'm guessing they either stayed home or went to a church service, even with Barb's limited mobility. Chris probably didn't get his live upgrade v2 (PS4). Maybe no big dinner either. More or less a typical day.

Getting sent to a nursing home would be a blessing for Barb. It'd be a clean, safe place for her to live that wouldn't be filled with various pests. I'd like to imagine that Chris would take the opportunity to clean the house up and get rid of the horde. We all know it's not going to happen even if Barb goes into a nursing home, but it'd be a nice thought.

And if you got charcoal, you can use it for art projects.

Being shut-ins they may not even realize it was Christmas today, unless something came up on the tube that said "Hey! It's Christmas today!" And then Chris would stress sigh because Barb didn't get him anything. Barb of course would used to not getting anything from her self-centered offspring (GIFTS ARE EXPENSIVE!). After all, when you're a shut-in hoard hermit like the Chandlers every day just kind of bleeds into the next and it's hard to keep track of the date.

I wonder if they get carolers around where they live. I'm certain it would be a mite interesting for chris to have to peel himself away from some christmas special to yell at some passers-by spreading christmas cheer.
Then again, most people probably wouldn't want to approach that wasteland of a front yard unless they absolutely had to anyway.

I keep forgetting they keep the tree up all year long. It's just another piece of Chris's childhood destroyed since it has no meaning now and is just a part of the hoard. That's really depressing to think about. :heart-empty: Do you think they even bother clearing a space out below it anymore to put stuff? My bet is on "no".
