Someone in the Elissa Clips comments section said the Meteorman symbol just looks like the Whataburger logo. I'll let you be the judge.
Not only is he owning Eric July by making a shitty comic so bad he's suicide baiting over it, he also owned the entire state of Texas by ripping off their official state burger chain's logo. Is there nothing this man can't do?

I'll be owned if he goes through with the suicide.
I'll be doubly owned if he streams it.

Maybe I'm just fucking retarded but I discovered something the other day and I can't shake my suspicion...

I haven't read this comic, but at a glance it has a LOT in common with Vito's project.

The name is almost identical.

The above image is the same topdown gimmick as this atrocity:

The art style is very similar (aside from Vito's artist being absolute shit).

It has a main character (didn't read I don't know if he is a hero or villain) that kills supers with a gun:

Similar witty sense of humor (but without the Reddit soy).

Did Vito steal his comic idea?

Seems like there are too many similarities for this to be a mere coincidence. I don't know Vito lore so I don't know if he's a big comic nerd who might've known of this comic series.

We know Vito doesn't have a drop of originality in him and is an all around scumbag. This comic was published in 2017 and I have no idea how popular it is. It was mentioned on the Farms a couple times in the comicbook sperg thread.
If it isn't well known could Vito be trying to pass off a carbon copy of this comic in hopes of no one noticing?

Here's a link to Hero Killers if you want to compare for yourself: https://readcomiconline.li/Comic/Project-Superpowers-Hero-Killers

Edited to fix my own retardation.

I just read the whole thing. It's not a complete ripoff of it because there are elements of James Gunn's Super and a few other things mixed in to Vedo's Supernonce. But now the idea of young Antihero with a gun that blasts superheroes is confirmed unoriginal. This comic is significantly better than Supernonce too. At least the creator of Herokillers realizes comics are a visual medium and scripted some cool panels and pages with robots and explosions and weird little pukey alien monsters that make a more fun read.

Pretty sure you'll find a dozen of Wanted/Kickass wannabes out there.
I skimmed the last issue to check the art and paneling, nothing special or worth ripping off.

The artwork is competent enough (barely),
which is 3 to 4 points above the uninspired collage-half
that the subhuman scum in the title of this thread presented to the public.
Agreeing with @Oliver Onions ' previous point:
I think anyone sitting down to write a comic in Current Year +10 needs to ask themselves 'what do I have to say that hasn't been said before?'.

Otherwise, no one trying to "do the Millar, but quirkier" (forget even getting to Garth Ennis) will get anywhere.
And to surpass Robert Kirkman's works you'd have to actually love comics rather than be satisfied with the grift.
Never gonna happen in this thread.-

This whole thing Christopher's done is based on bad faith, half truths and deception. You're correct in everything you said and there is a ceiling for copycats. The criticisms in this thread ring true, the PDF storytimes were generally panned and all the video reviews ridicule SUPERKILLER. Of the two comic lines Hero Killers is very clearly the superior book. With music albums, books, films, etc. one of the things that will set you apart is the atmosphere, the transcendent sum of everything. That book is better in that area and is far less clunky and stiff. It's better in every area: covers, bookends, figure work, dynamics, humor, it actually exists, whatever.

I don't know if this has been posted here before.
If so, this'll at least be reinforcement, but Vito said on an episode of BPITU that he traced Daniel Clowes' Ray-Gun character (from his world-renowned Eightball series) for his SUPERKILLER trading card.
Why would anyone do that, admit to doing that then go out of their way to lecture people on the importance of art and vision? I'm sure the theft didn't end here.
Talk about soulless versus soulful (everything drawn, inked and lettered on paper by hand).

Lmao oh no Vito not Meteor Man too!

I'm going to find where you guys lifted that cover from you fucking nonce.

I was thinking about this Dynamite comics Herokillers book posted today and the character Black Terror seemed familiar. It's because Von Klaus a comicsgate guy literally did rip it off. Same name and with a skull and crossbones and mask too. Both are stupid comics nobody cares about but shows you how fucking original these youtuber comic book guys are. For context to the familiar drama, Von Klaus is a comicsgate writer who is one of the guys that was all for Eric July defending Eric on Xitter until the day Ethan Van Sciver turned on July then Von Klaus was suddenly a hater. He's not the only one who did it either, there was "Toxic Manbaby" the artist of Rage Golden Eagle's disgusting loli book and others turned on a dime because EVS said so.
This is Von Klaus book:

and this is from Project Superpowers Hero Killers

Holy shit! He even ripped off the name Robert Benton. That's a 1:1 confirmed copy.

The entire thing is just an amalgamation of memorable/iconic/etc scenes, settings, plot, etc from other more successful books. The problem being, it lacks any sort of finesse or guiding hand from a true autere to make it worthwhile. You want a book about killing the superhumans and their associates; you need to explain why superpowered beings need to be kept in check less they go full fucking psycho. If it's a super killing other supers, you can try to make it more artsy and cerebral about the ethics and morality of justifying the taking of a life. Or you could just just go full fucking hardcore violence with blood, swearing, and gore. But we don't get any of these; we get the mind fart of someone who's remembering the shit he read and liked when he was younger and tried to cobble it together... unironically, it's just a poor copy and paste of shit that's come before, but ran through the mind of a pedophile still lusting after a dead girl.

This is a lot of words for just saying there is no reason for SuperPedo even to exist, and even less than no reason for Vitophile to exist. In fact, there are considerably large numbers of reason he should be removed from existence, by force if necessary.

I'm also guessing his artist is doing this when they have downtime and not to actually put food on the table.
We'll know for certain once the second half of Act One is released sometime in October 2028, but it was clear in the last few pages of what has been released that Lebau is completely phoning it in. From looking at his other work he's not a great artist but he's definitely capable of more than what he turned in for Supershitter.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was only tidying up his roughs and submitting those at this point, and I wouldn't blame him either.
