I think I saw the movie as a kid, and if I remember right the plot is about two young high school boys using the Internet to make their ideal woman who is an adult and showers them with money for attention.

Thank you, edited this into the community happenings post. I've never even heard of this film, let alone seen it. Even if "boylove" somehow existed as some sort of dogwhistle that far back, this has nothing to do with it. It's most likely Vito is feigning ignorance for cheap Twitter likes.
