The difference is Louis CK has real fucking punchlines, whereas Christopher gives away the joke at the beginning so there's nothing to surprise you. The joke makes no fucking sense because he frontloads it with "HE WEIGHS 450 LBS!" and then the way he leads into the amount of croissant naturally leads you to believe he'll say "by the dozen," but all he does with that is make it... two dozen.

Family Guy already did the "buying fattening foods by weird quantities" joke decades ago, it's not a hard joke, but he got it wrong in every conceivable metric. Also, Christopher doesn't commit suicide and I find that to be a drastic flaw in his performance.

Dude, that was fucking painful to watch. the silence after every punchline was like a knife in the chest, and the audience literally laughed randomly because they had no idea where to laugh and felt obligated to. I could only tolerate a couple minutes but I don't think I've seen a 'professional' comedian with so little charisma since Tom Myers. Even Tom is a bit more tolerable because he tries so hard to be Bill Hicks I remember funny Bill Hicks bits when I watch him.

Tom even has a Sam's Club joke that manages to be funnier than whatever super contemporary observation Vito was supposed to be making.
