1) If the suicide bombings work then that is a high kill ratio logistical element.
2) You might use worthless assets like women and children as bombers that dont serve any other tactical functions.
3) They cant defect or go AWOL because after one use they are gone.
4) They are less likely to be captured and then give off strategic information after interrogation.

Let me play devil's advocate here. What role do Palestinians play in Israeli culture, society, and government? Then, what roles do Israelis play in Palestinian culture, society, and government?

I hate a sneaky Jew just as much as the next red blooded Irishman, but I've spent time in both Israel and Palestine, and I have a hard time jiving with the hardcore Palestine supporters. Maybe it's just my American perspective on fighting over land, which is, "To the victor go the spoils."
