I'm not Israeli (full Amerimutt if anybody wants to know), so I don't know the specifics of towns, cities, suburbs, and neighborhoods in Israel. Is Lod like the Compton/Camden of Tel Aviv or something (since all the metal bars)? I know it's by the main airport in Israel, but Wikipedia says it's 30% Muslim (IDK if that's high or not).

I hope this affair dispels the idea that Israel isn't just yet another Middle Eastern mudshit country with genocidal aspirations. Hamas is wrong for jumping to rockets to protect itself, only because it loses them the war on the message- if they threw a few more dead women and children at Al-Aqsa, they might have finally won the world's attention. Instead, Israel will be left alone to murder them all because the situation looks "complicated" and like "both sides are escalating." With Biden in office, and Bibi on his last legs, a total reversal in US-Israeli relations was possible, which would have devastated the same political group interested in raiding the mosque.Fuck both sides. Instead, the Israelis are finally getting their ever sought-after Gaza invasion, because Hamas hasn't realized that "if you don't stop bombing civilian buildings, we will shoot rockets at X" isn't threatening- it's an opportunity.
Shia are no doubt celebrating the death of the Sunni Palestinians, brought on by them launching Shia-donated munitions, because clearly you win a war with shitty rockets these days, not dwindling foreign interest/support. Kind of funny no one has really commented on the donated munitions misfiring/exploding in the tube 20-30% of the time, as if it's Hamas somehow fucking that up, and not by gleeful Iranian design.
Bomb shelters require money and a sufficient amount of construction equipment. Gaza is trapped and unsupported and Israel just leveled all of their civilian financial infrastructure some hours ago, so that will only get worse from here.

The only good bomb shelters in Gaza are the ones Israel built for its own soldiers in the 80s and 90s. Regular Gazans don't get to go into those, Hamas leaders do. Most of them are probably hiding in the bunkers under the hospital like they did last time.
