and now they attack entire organizations and making them crazy.

Most recent, and what spurned this thread, is CNN losing their shit over a wrestling meme, then threatening to dox a rando if he didn't apologize

Their whole staff is going insane on air, look at Sally Kohn losing her shit over a meme

i like how the "analysis" is just excerpts from his history and some name-calling.

If you wrote something that weak as an OP here, your thread would be sent to Spergatory and you'd get doxed in your own halal thread.

As a liberal, I find CNN's behavior unacceptable. There's many other very important things to cover, uncover, and expose than some kid making memes on the Internet. I know I am going to hear the "speech has consequences" argument. It does - but my question is, why did CNN make a mountain range out of a molehill?

If they'd have just named the guy in the first place, it would just be a news story. Which is all "doxing" is the gutter version of anyway. The news media just wants a monopoly on shit while illegalizing it when private citizens do the same shit.

Where they went off the rails is their Vordrak-like "Nice life you have there. . .be a shame if you got doxed" shit.

And yet the capitalism hating left is silent on a globalist mega corporation using their power to harass and bully a private citizen. You'd think this is the sort of thing they'd be furious about.

I've seen more than a little support. And while some of the rest of the media is condemning CNN, the rest are rushing to defend them, primarily by emphasizing that it's a bunch of "internet trolls" mad about the story, and doing hit-pieces on the memelord that made the image.

I'm betting CNN will dox the guy before it's over anyway, saying it's his fault that they're currently being fucked all over social media.

"Do you trust me?" Asks modern day news media as it holds a gun over some guy's head with one hand and beating a dead horse labeled "Trump" into a fine paste with a rusty-nail bat in the other.

Was it a CNN reporter who went live on television and genuinely asked that question? Please, someone tell me it was.

Journalism has been really weird as of late. CNN trying to shame and threatening to dox a 15 year old, most if not all comment sections being removed and players like Vice trying to get rid of archiving services.

Like, I get it, most comment sections are garbage and people hate owning up to mistakes or feeling threatened but stoicism doesn't seem to be worth anything to journalist groups these days, ha.
