That's not an exaggeration or a joke in any way, either. This place has an unwavering dedication to finding the truth and is remarkably thorough about fact checking. And when something is unconfirmed but is still interesting enough to post, it's also accompanied by a very clear disclaimer that the information might not be valid and requires further research before it's added to the official report. Yeah there's a ton of spergs who frenzy over unconfirmed into all all the time, but it's always accompanied by a real effort to get confirmation.

I don't get why this guy even came into it. What was added to the story by outing this guy? What if they were unlucky and it ended up just being some innocent person.
