and now they attack entire organizations and making them crazy.

Most recent, and what spurned this thread, is CNN losing their shit over a wrestling meme, then threatening to dox a rando if he didn't apologize

Their whole staff is going insane on air, look at Sally Kohn losing her shit over a meme

Apparently, the other big news organizations are circling since they see an opportunity to butt-fuck CNN over this. In addition to the Washington Times covering it, Vox is also looking into it, and the other big journo firms seem to have decided to rake CNN over the coals over this.

....Gonna be an interesting few weeks.

People thinking that other Journalists are going to feast on CNN are forgetting the level of collusion going on in the industry these days. They'll fuck everyone else before they fuck a fellow hack.

Washington Times from what I heard isn't part of the kool kids klub but Vox and such will all look into the guys posts and declare he deserved it because he was such an edgelord. He posted a lot in a reddit dedicated to being a space where people can be super politically incorrect as an outlet, but you can bet context will be out the window because the nasty racist needed to be taught a lesson

I like how people are defending this as "investigative journalism".

Also how the fuck is tweeting a gif of it "racist"? I've seen dumb headlines of how the gif maker is racist but can't pin point how.

Wont take long for UK news outlets to start calling the kid a pedophile somehow given that is the UK's go to thing right after racism.

If you wayback his user profile on reddit it's full of stuff like "Fuck Islam", "Can't wait till the travel ban is approved" ect and some black people jokes on a reddit dedicated to un-PC shitposting.

Kinda moot because in his apology post he mentioned he basically was getting a kick out of saying really shocking stuff and overdid it.

Gawker: We just made the worst mistake in the history of journalism.
CNN: Oh yeah, watch this!

When you fuck up so bad that you make FUCKING GAWKER look like they have more journalistic integrity... That's when you know you've really screwed the pooch here.

It would be the first thing that pops up if you googled his name, he'd get literal shit delivered to his house, death threats, if he had a job he'd get fired, if he was looking for a job, employers would avoid him because they do background checks.

Even while this is true, he admitted to the CNN/Buzzfeed "journalist" that he did not want his name published because he was scared for his personal safety. And his family's safety.

And then they admit they can publish his name whenever they want, even if he thinks it'll put him in danger. They don't care.

His name would have been published if he didn't do the bullshit phone "interview" that CNN selectively edits and refuses to release a recording of. Imaging being called by some Buzzfeed hack, saying he's going to publish your name on CNN for posting anti-Semitic memes on reddit and a CNN wrestling gif. How the fuck would you respond? You would apologize and beg not to be put on CNN news as an anti-Semitic Trump supporter who wants to commit violence against the media.

You would have the fucking Bikelock Professor in your backyard next week.

Of course he apologized when a Buzzfeed "reporter" called his personal fucking phone number asking about reddit posts he made. How would any of you react if you got a phone call out of nowhere from CNN asking about your Kiwifarms forum posts, calling you an anti-Semite who advocates violence against journalists, and that they're going to publish your name on their article, and if you want to respond, do it on this phone call where CNN can selectively publish your words as they want and no one knows what we actually discussed.

The kid is 15 and it was a dumb internet meme. It doesn't matter tbh. A major news organization shouldn't threaten to ruin his life. Shit even KF doesn't dox minors usually.

I think they realized attacking Trump wasn't working, so they started attacking easier targets with accusations of anti-Semitism and calls to violence who don't have any defense against such directed smear attacks. It actually seems to me like an attack against people who support Trump and post pro-Trump content, a silencing effect, that if you post online like this, they will publish your name.

It really puts in perspective the kind of bullshit Null puts up with by keeping this forum open. This guy cracked under ONE threat.

Exactly. They act like they've never posted dumb shit on the internet before. (Granted, one could say that everything CNN posts falls under the label of "dumb shit", but I digress) And if what I'm hearing about him being only 15 is true, then OF COURSE he's posting dumb internet memes. It's something that most teens do these days.
