Aw crap. I just got their on my playthrough. Though I’m feeling overleveled (lv. 39) so hopefully it’ll go wellThe Cathedral is the worst area in any game. Code Vein improves so much once that shit is done with.

According to number crunchers on Reddit, it was a 40% reduction to damage. A very hefty nerf, indeed.Just how bad was the nerf to barrage spells?
Nice pics, kinda curious how you can take good screenshots like this while playing the game, souls-likes require stupid amounts of concentration. Anyway, I think I'm about to finish off a sidequest, I completed yet another level of the depths and I beat the Ashen Cavern, the City of Falling Flame is next. There's just something about this game, you know? It's not the best souls game out there, but it has a heart, like it was designed by people who care about what they're doing.According to number crunchers on Reddit, it was a 40% reduction to damage. Speaking of which, one of the posters had uploaded concept art for the game about a month ago. The latter link in particular contains pictures taken from what I assume was an expo.
even in concept art, the Invading Executioner was always intended to be moist...![]()
A lot of people didn't, which is why you would hear horror stories about how players (me included) have spent literal hours trying to escape.Oddly enough, I didn’t have that much of a problem with The Cathedral. Though if I didn’t know to look down all the time it’d probably have taken a lot longer
My screenshots aren't too difficult to pull off if you have the patience. For one, Photo Mode allows you to bind it to one of your keys for quick access (mine was the left button on the PS4 D-pad), and it's responsive enough that you can spam/exit it in the middle of an animation until you get the best frame possible. And because it pauses all action until you exit, you have basically given yourself a makeshift pause button. For a souls-like game. You can't exactly dodge-cancel out of your moves except during the Halberd's weapon skill anyway, so it's surprisingly easy to shift gears and get yourself back in action by the time the animation ends.Nice pics, kinda curious how you can take good screenshots like this while playing the game, souls-likes require stupid amounts of concentration.
I can respect a team where staff members clearly had one hand preoccupied while working. There's just something about this game, you know? It's not the best souls game out there, but it has a heart, like it was designed by people who care about what they're doing.
I finally picked the game up, enjoying it but I’m still really early on. Any tips for the moth boss?
I beat her a while ago, but thanks.also, there is a “strike” attack where the snake head part will face you and rush you doing a lot of damage: dodge toward the boss here. If you dodge back it’ll still hit you, same with side dishes as the hit box is huge.
Bring things to cure poison and add poison resistance (as someone else said they gifts or items bought from coco)
The slut hates fire, so any spell/buff whatever that has fire is good
A character that can keep their distance has a better chance
She can be stunned fairly easily with a big 2 handed sword hit
good luck!
I figured but she seems to be the first big “firewall” everyone encounters so I put it there jic others come across it wanting some help. Congrats, bitch is tough.I beat her a while ago, but thanks.
I just beat her earlier and holy shit she sucks. Easily the most aggravating boss so far.The giant dog wolf titty magic lady one, her second phase is a gigantic pile of bullshit. :Edit: Wolfdog lady mage thing has been tagged and bagged and then I got a plot bomb dumped in my lap. This game continues to appeal to me.
More gestures, more hairstyles. Too much support for ponytails, need more love for bangs and voluminous hair.DLC is meant to be coming 'early' this year, hoping we hear something soon, whats everybody hoping/excited for?
I'll have to finish my first playthrough before I can effectively answer this question, but Pinot Pierrot's post seems interesting to me. I hope if they implement PVP content they don't make it so you can invade and fuck with other people's games. That honestly doesn't feel like it would fit in with this game's content or overall theme.DLC is meant to be coming 'early' this year, hoping we hear something soon, whats everybody hoping/excited for?
The map is dense but small, so you won’t have to deal with it for long if you know where to go.Currently working my way through the Burning City area, the place is frustrating as fuck, I think I may have found this game's equivalent of Blighttown.
