Archiving with archive.md works poorly with chosts that have "read more" links and "content warning" buttons. GhostArchive is still able to interact with those comparatively better. Screenshots are still really helpful. 
cohost is no more. With Elon Musk uprooting Twitter, a fair share of snowflakes are blowing hither and fro to other social networking sites like mastodon, poa.st, and now cohost. Although it's essentially a newborn compared to other snowflake-infested sites, troons and other undesirables are slowly settling down on this fertile ground. At the time of writing this new users can register without hassle on the site, but cannot make comments or "chosts"—the site's term for "cohost posts"—until they're sent another email from the staff letting them know they can do so.
How's It Different From Twitter?
cohost does not appear to impose a character limit on posts, so no longer will readers need to scan through posts and their replies; however, an edit button exists ( Archive ), so make sure to archive ASAP. Rudimentary HTML and CSS are also allowed in posts, so anticipate a blast to badly-designed 90s websites with clashing colours and other wacky techniques like this ( Archive ).
It seems that there are some built-in features or scripts that allow for reader interaction. The
#interactable hashtag ( Link constantly updating ) has a few posts if anyone wants to try them out.The site also hides metrics like follower and like counts, so the attention-starved will find it harder to get their regular hit of dopamine there unless they get engagement through comments. Some of the differences are a little strange: DMs don't exist, and tagging people doesn't notify them.

credit to @carbonado frog and @Markass the Worst for discovering and linking ) about the site being in dire straits. A key point is that the site had been primarily funded by an associate of the staff who has gone AWOL; without their sugar the site is predicted to reach its last legs in April.
A third party has analysed the site's financial updates ( Archive ;
credit to @Not Yet Implemented ).On September 9, 2024, cohost announced its shutdown ( Archive ;
credit to @D.Va ) by the end of the year (pending how well their efforts last), and that the site will become read-only in October.On October 1, 2024, cohost entered read-only mode.
On January 12, 2025, cohost's servers were shut down and trying to access the site redirects users to its Wayback Machine page.
In summary, this is a lolcow farm that serves to pen fleeing Twitterers, but harvests will
