Apparently, JSG was going after Christians being offended over this character and that seemed to the tipping point for them. Ethan’s chat didn‘t like JSG at all because they think he’s a pedo and a grifter.

This is a guess, but I dont think he gained all 1k subs on the 5th and also he didnt lose all 1k on the 10th. After 1k subs, YouTube shows the sub count as 1.00k subs instead of the exact number of subs(1000). I think this translates over to social blades as well. On the 5th he could have had 199,900 subs, gained 200 subs to push it over 200k subs. Social blades only knows he had 199k subs and then it went to 200k so they report it as gaining 1k subs. On the flip side, he could have had 200,100 subs, lost 200 and be at 199,900 subs, but it shows up as 199k subs so social blades will report that he lost 1k subs.

If he's this far down the rabbit hole in his own head now, I'm pretty sure the book will be terrible. "God-King" always seemed to me like it was joyless and hateful because Zack was letting his own personal problems bleed into the book. "Grand Bizarre" is probably going to be like a CWC Sub-Episode with angry Indiegogo backers written in as the "jerkops".

From what I understand, EVS has always been slow. Bolland slow (but not as good) and he is clearly taking his time on CF to do no rushed work. He is also running a business and working full time as a streamer/ content creator.
So he has to deal with and this takes him out of his zone and could easily result in delays even if he was following a strict schedule.
Considering he planned to use a writer for RP (which would have been an epic cowfest if done, because Dave Sim is probably a schizofrenic with a lot of talent but big brain ideas that make YBZ seem like Stan lee in his prime) he probably did not have a clear script and could easily have bloated the book way beyond what he was planning to do or he hit some dead ends for a while (like YBZ is probably trying to plug plot holes in his big campaigns and running late).
Also, he is a fucking bitch that constantly stirs up drama and is surrounded by a herd of cows chimping all the time so this throws another wrench in his plans.

All I can say is that his pages look very good and, when the book comes out, it would probably be enjoyed by his fans, but he clearly has to change a lot of how he runs his business to be able to produce books on time in the future.

Taking all his faults into account I think Mr. Van Sciver is better than Mr. Bolland... that said, for all the work load he still has ahead of him, FROG hasn't promised anywhere to deliver several hour livestreams every 2-3 days.... He HAS however promised to deliver froggy books, but he hasn't come through. So it's clear what his priority ought to be...
