Those fucking gloves always get me. Talk about a "how do you do fellow kids" character. He dresses up like a Billy Idol groupy to have a "crom con" to show off people's campaigns and give people advice about their campaigns. Then when he finally has his own, he lays this giant turd of a campaign.

Pops and this campaign are a prime example of some of the people in CG. No talent, no hard work done, thinking that he needs a campaign manager(actually 2 managers) for a campaign that can only get 38 backers and finally the whole "if you make a campaign, they will back it" attitude. Then when he ask for help and someone politely is trying to give him the advice of "your campaign is shit, here is how to salvage it" he say "nah, I'm gonna do it my way, rock on!" with devil horns and those fucking fingerless gloves(I haven't seen the video yet, but Pete is usually pretty good at doing this for others).
I see people like Pops and wonder "what is his life like outside of CG?" Same goes for many of the living stereotypes who populate the average CG comments section. You just can't picture these people functioning in normal society and for the most part, I doubt many of them do. Too many times have I creeped on the page of someone I was arguing with, only to find videos of them gluing Barbie dolls together at 40 years old or posting fap compilations of Teen Nick actors, or literally stalking women in dark alleyways while snickering out loud (Amargad). I really hope this movement holds together long enough to have a convention so the CG Kings can finally come face to face with the CG aristocracy."How do I get more backers on this campaign?"
"Well, do you have any finished material to show off?"

This is great. It looks like Van Zant has the same kind of absolute, autistic faith in his shitty nothing character as a Cynthia Hanson or Derek Savage. Or a Richard Meyer. Look at how he giggles and cackles when he lays out the details of his fuckups before a baffled Peter. He knew what he was doing, he just expected the popularity of his anemic Mr. Gasser standin to effortlessly burst through all these barriers.
