Those fucking gloves always get me. Talk about a "how do you do fellow kids" character. He dresses up like a Billy Idol groupy to have a "crom con" to show off people's campaigns and give people advice about their campaigns. Then when he finally has his own, he lays this giant turd of a campaign.

Pops and this campaign are a prime example of some of the people in CG. No talent, no hard work done, thinking that he needs a campaign manager(actually 2 managers) for a campaign that can only get 38 backers and finally the whole "if you make a campaign, they will back it" attitude. Then when he ask for help and someone politely is trying to give him the advice of "your campaign is shit, here is how to salvage it" he say "nah, I'm gonna do it my way, rock on!" with devil horns and those fucking fingerless gloves(I haven't seen the video yet, but Pete is usually pretty good at doing this for others).
"How do I get more backers on this campaign?"

"Well, do you have any finished material to show off?"

"Loldunno"

:story:

This is great. It looks like Van Zant has the same kind of absolute, autistic faith in his shitty nothing character as a Cynthia Hanson or Derek Savage. Or a Richard Meyer. Look at how he giggles and cackles when he lays out the details of his fuckups before a baffled Peter. He knew what he was doing, he just expected the popularity of his anemic Mr. Gasser standin to effortlessly burst through all these barriers.
I see people like Pops and wonder "what is his life like outside of CG?" Same goes for many of the living stereotypes who populate the average CG comments section. You just can't picture these people functioning in normal society and for the most part, I doubt many of them do. Too many times have I creeped on the page of someone I was arguing with, only to find videos of them gluing Barbie dolls together at 40 years old or posting fap compilations of Teen Nick actors, or literally stalking women in dark alleyways while snickering out loud (Amargad). I really hope this movement holds together long enough to have a convention so the CG Kings can finally come face to face with the CG aristocracy.

Until the CG Revolution, when chat insurgents and CG stream mutineers "intoxicated with liberty and enthusiasm", embark on a CG Reign of Terror with CG proles and commoners purging CG Royalists and other counter-revolutionaries when they storm For the Fans Fest. Could be a real bloodbath.

The most worrying scenario is some of them may be perfectly normal people chimping out on their downtime, then returning to their boring lives.
At least the people stalking women you can see and avoid.

@Mister Dongs Does Pops have some kind of mental disability or severe brain damage? Seeing him on stream is surreal. The hat, the fingerless gloves, the voice, the hands moving around at Mach 2. He's like a bargain brand Jake the Snake Roberts. Amazing.
I'm not sure if what's going on with Pops is some sort of lack of teeth issue when speaking or early onset senility due to pot usage. One thing I do know for sure is that he is definitely a Comicsgater. Pops will be launching the promised 4/20 madness on CG King and industry legend Mike Baron's channel and there's no way I'm going to be missing that.

Aaron Lopresti may have pulled $4500 this week by actually discussing the state of mainstream comic books, but even with that he was no match for the newest and most powerful CG King - Irene Strychalski - who sold $6000 worth of art in an obscure auction stream. @Analog Devolved

At least CG finally found someone to simp for that is actually attractive and talented.

Selling talent with attractiveness versus merely selling the attractiveness seems to be one of the key obvious distinctions, but there are of course others. Good for Irene. She's delightful and deserves every penny. Now, where's Cecil...?

She does seem genuinely nice and has a bubbly personality. I will say, she can get a little too giggly at times and screams a little too much sometimes, but I will take that any day over Rosetta Allen's screeching or Pipers drunken crying at the mere hint of a slight towards her.

Absolute insanity. Her art is good, very impressive by CG standards but those prices put Troy Paypiggons to shame.

The reality is most drawn comic art isn't worth that much. She should realistically be pulling in 3-500 for a high quality piece from even the most generous of pigs.

4k dollar bids from out of nowhere. People with her talent level for penciling and inking are a dime a dozen. Check out the artwork for sale on cadence, which is one of the major outlets for artists looking to sell pages. Once you see A list talent going for a few hundred you'll know what a sleazy grifter and artcow she potentially is with the lulz coming from the paypigs.

If you have $3k dollars burning a hole in your pocket.

Not that I would spend that much on her art, at least she has professional published work unlike nobodies like Cecil and Anna who have got stupid money in past CG auctions. Check out her 16 marvel credits here: https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Irene_Strychalski these could at least help the buyer get a fraction of the cost back later on, unlike the owners of Cecil self portraits. For less than those pieces in the past week on eBay you could have had original interior art from John & Sal Buscema, John Byrne, Todd McFarlane, Frank Thorne, and George Perez. But hey whoever got $500 George Perez art must be eating cat food because comicsgate is WINNING!

It's all the same dude overpaying for cute but not really amazing art. Hope he enjoys it but it's not really Irene's fault he's crazy, and no guarantee she's actually going to receive the money...

I'm pretty sure she got payed. On the Cyborg Valkyrie auction, you can't bid on anything again until you have payed for a piece you won. He would have had to pay for the first 2 $1000 pieces he won to be able to bid on the $4000 piece. So she got at least got $2000. Also, the person didn't win just one piece of art per auction they won. They won about 4 or 5 pieces per auction for the $1000 wins and about 9 or 10 on the one that was $4000.

I guess its nice to have rich patrons

You sons of bastards are just going to do Witten like that?

Disgusting.
Don't forget Mandy Summers. Poor girl is over here putting her legs behind her head and singlehandedly keeping Dale Keown in CG, and finally claims her throne as CG's Simp Queen after years of hard work, only to be instantly steamrolled by the new girl. At this rate she'll have to piss herself on camera to catch up. No worries though, happily married Jon Malin is always willing to provide a platform to facilitate such activities.

Last I checked Jon Malin and the JACK Show gang were courting a former member of General Muammar Gadaffi's elite Amazonian virgin bodyguard squad. Summers would be wise to not let her emotions get the best of her as any simp jealousy -fueled confrontation with this battle-scarred shieldmaiden could prove deadly.

UPDATE:

Having viewed the entire stream, I'd say this week's JACK Show is one of the better in recent memory (at least by JACK Show standards). The content itself of course was supremely degenerate and incredibly dumb. But, once past the first hour of vapid Jon-Cecil-Anna dynamic, they hit a certain stride if only by accident. They even managed to maintain a consistent comedic theme practically throughout the core of the ~5-hour stream (JACK Show affiliated females' competitive feminine hygiene) and were able to interweave a refrain of Jay Doll Man Hefner's repeated inept attempts to join the stream. For the first time since I've been a viewer, I can say they successfully worked a comedy bit.

What was even more impressive is that no single person was carrying the stream and they didn't rely on @FROG as Captain Save-a-Show. Once past the first hour, neither Jon nor Cecil imposed on the guests or material in any significant way (perhaps because the momentum/flow was so good that they were able to relax for once?). It's genuinely baffling because I was expecting to have more critical material for the thread given the sizable cast of highly questionable characters. There is typically a certain low-frequency hum of irritativeness to most of the members (at least in this context):
  • drunk Jon Malin derailing and being low-key belligerent
  • perennially vapid "actually really smart" Anna
  • bro-tier britbong Captain Chokeout (who streams like it's his first day streaming, every day)
  • I-can't-be-closeted-because-im-making-all-these-self-depricating-gay-jokes effeminate homosexual tryhard CAMELOT331
  • Cecil
Was it the wildcard of literally who-comer BXBulletTV? Was this particular mix of females -including "chan celebrity" Brittany Venti- somehow a moderating agent for the JACK Show's worst tendencies? Me not know. Like those early Incel-o-Vision streams, this may entirely be a fluke that generally does not replicate for whatever reasons, but credit where credit is due on this one, I guess.

The good news keeps on coming.

After many long years of fans complaining, DC comics has finally listened to what their customers have been crying out for and started making conventional superhero fare once more. Batman/Superman: World’s Finest, a Silver Age-era adventure throwback debuted this month with solid storytelling, strong art, geared for kids and young adults while not talking down to them and nary a whiff of politics or SJW LGBTQIADRTRW nonsense.

Take it away Mark Waid!

But while Mark Waid addresses the longstanding complaints CG has leveled about American comics, there was one familiar voice who seemed unhappy by this resurgence of apolitical, high-octane fare by him and others like Ron Marz:

"Shut the fuck up Ron. First of all, the best success you've had over the last 20 plus years of your career Ron is writing a Silver Surfer mini series out right now that is literally catering to the CG crowd. Like it's old school, 1990s art, lot of action. Minimal politics, like you had to go to that well to get some success."

Wow, what a piece of shit that Ron Marz guy sounds like here. You can hear the contempt in Meyer's voice when he levies out the accusation of "catering to the CG crowd", let's see him try to be a true artiste like Simple Zack by writing drawing fulfilling collecting the money for more real comics like Pandemic or Impossible Stars.

But behind the calumnies, there's a real threat being posed here; the SJWs like Marz and Waid have taken on a new insidious tactic to own the chuds once and for all by actually making the high quality old school material that CG raised a bunch of money promising to make but never actually got around to doing. Those bastards. Can anything be done about this? Will Comicsgate have to make (more) homosexual furry comics to offset the mainstream's foray into non-woke conventional fare? We'll have to wait and see.
