Or pretending that women that don't agree with them don't exist. It's why minorities get special privileges - until they step out of line. Then they're either told they're lying about their identity, are instantly transformed into a Russian bot, or called a traitor and attacked on whatever vector their identity doesn't cover - white, straight, cis, not disabled, whatever it takes.

It's a simple as flicking a switch. You're only allowed to disagree with them if you're coming from a more woke, more offended place - otherwise you're one of the Bad Ones.

Comics is the one place where I've heard as something absurd as a female to male to female transsexual who pretends to be your standard MtF troon for extra oppression points. It's Matt Perez's ex but I haven't heard anything note worthy beyond that and them being better off after the break-up.

She owned a salon... what happened to it? Did she give haircuts that nobody asked for and stopped getting customers?

Yes and no. Captain Marvel, Riri Williams and Spider-Gwen all had their books cancelled and rebranded with new #1s a few months later. Ms. Marvel and Squirrel Girl both sell so few copies that they should have been cancelled years ago. America Chavez is the only one who had a title that deserved to be cancelled and was cancelled, permanently.

I don't even recognize Gay Latino Firestar, Erin Esurance and the black guy who looks like the mascot for a home security company. I assume they were created to fill out the missing racial checkboxes.

I know some Salon owners. They're still in the business because they know how to work hard as well as ensure they have competent staff. One's about to retire and made insane bank from his pair of salons as he's selling them as going concerns.

If you managed to open a Salon and fucked up to the point you leave into Comics writing which pays peanuts in comparison? Yeaaaaaaaah.

You didn't just suck as a Salon owner you sucked as a basic entrepreneur as Salons are surprisingly easy to sell as a concept to people.
