Holy negroes. What a phenomenally shit and lazy concept. I promise you that Ryu dragon punch panel was based on some shut-in teenager’s long-forgotten 2010 DevianArt account.

It almost makes you look like Michaelangelo, Wenger.
HAHA Hey you know I never claimed to be Joe Mad! What I offer is a good time and that's what an entertainment product should be before anything else!

Second plane just hit the towers. Also the FNT audience are picking up what Gary is putting down meaning instead of the same ten or so people shrieking at Evan and his dents it is a host of people now.
And still no comics have been delivered to the victims.

PERMISSION TO BREATHE- Hal Jordan Has White Privilege...But So Does John Stewart (And His Parents)
Transcript:
Give me a ride, punk, or I will dust your ass. Nope, not convincing. Damn it.

Hey, find your core character, Sean. You are an oppressed black man from the ghetto. Yeah, I'm having trouble finding this one.

Hey, think Tupac. All right, let me try it again. Just stay with me.

I see it. Action! Give me a ride, punk, or I will dust your ass. Add a biatch, and I think you got it.

Hi, everyone. It's your boy, Zach, and I got 13% battery, so we'll just see how this goes. It'll keep me on my toes.

I won't ramble. So I watched Lanterns, episode three. Oh, I'm sorry.

Lanterns! I did a video a couple months ago where I said, you know, kind of tongue-in-cheek, if you are bald, bellowing British, there is one other burly. Like, we're not listening to you. Just because of the trend.

The trend is untrustworthiness. But really, it's just bellowing, because some of those guys are skinny. But it's just, it's like, why do you have to scream everything you say? It's just a tactic.

You know, if you say something wrong in this voice, you're like, two plus two equals five. People are like, nope, don't believe it. But if you say, two plus two equals five, it sounds like almost legitimate.

It's like, I don't know enough to argue this. It must be. So all you're going to hear... So me and my buddy, we have a bit when we watch, you know, shows that DoomTubers like to complain about.

We basically say, oh, they'll get a week out of that. Oh, they'll get a month out of that. Oh, they'll go a whole year out of that.

So white privilege and race was discussed multiple times in episode three. And so they'll go, I don't know, about a month talking about that on a daily basis. But if you're not a complete shithead who hates art, something very, very interesting happened in lanterns episode three.

So they've established that people, some characters believe that Hal Jordan has white privilege and he got to be and keep being the Green Lantern because of white privilege. But you know who also has white privilege? Jon Stewart and his family. Let me continue.

So I don't think anyone has to explain what white privilege is. It's the idea that if you're white, you have privilege in society just because you're white with the implication that other people have either no privilege or a lack of privilege, negative privilege. But one of the weird things during the D.E.I. era is there was this big push to hire specifically black women and put them in all sorts of shows and have them be showrunners and have them be writers and all these things.

But with this massive increase in positions, there was no increase in what they were allowed to do. It's like you get to be strident or you get to play a slave or actually that was it. Oh, you always make the right decision and everybody likes you or they should.

I always laugh about that Grey's Anatomy, which is like a hospital. Where is that? Seattle? It's like 50% black women on the staff. There's like no Indians at all.

It's like, what hospital is this? But, so yeah, so massive increase in the amount of work. Oh, geez, if you were in the U.K. for a couple years ago and you were black women, they would just drive around in a van to snatch you up and give you a TV show. They weren't taking no for an answer.

But no depth, no variety and just very, very boring characters. Now, if this episode of Lanterns would have been, you know, would have come out five to ten years ago, all of the batshit crazy lying coming out of Jon Stewart, his mom and his dad, would have been portrayed as morally right. And you would have been guilted into agreeing both within the narrative and also metatextually in interviews, in coverage.

It's like, if you don't agree with everything that Mama Stewart said that you're a racist. Whereas this episode is like, you black people are motherfucking crazy. And every time you meet one where you go, oh, that's a crazy one in the family.

Let me introduce you to his mom, who's even crazier. So the situation here is that Jon Stewart's dad was offered the ring. He got scared and when they said, are you afraid? He's like, yeah, motherfucker.

I'm floating above my bed in the middle of the night in a green bubble. By the way, sidebar, I watched half of Green Lantern, the extended cut, which is basically what all these doom tubers are describing as their ideal Green Lantern. Like CGI costume, just like constant fights.

It's awful. As bad as I remember it being, so much worse. So anyway, I can't, can I check? I don't think I can check the amount of battery without stopping this.

But yeah, so a couple years ago, they would have done the same story, except for it would present it as, yeah, you know, there's racism. So you got to shoot a gun above your son's head so he ain't no punk bitch. Like, that's just science, really.

The mom specifically, the dad went through a lot of trouble and then seemed to get better. In the first episode, John just kind of calls and he's like, what the fuck, a honky tried to kill me. But we haven't seen the mom except for in flashbacks.

But the way that Jon Stewart has a 100% villain origin is making things very interesting. That being said, I think episode three was a case of a good outline, but the execution was just, it wasn't great. I got wrapped around the axle of the military inaccuracies, which there were many, but then I started thinking, does the average person know these are wildly inaccurate? So I did a poll and no.

Like two-thirds of the people who watched it didn't notice any. Like, wearing your service bravos to frickin' Denny's, or what was it, Outback, to meet a CIA guy. They actually almost commented on how that didn't make sense.

They're like, why did you show up in your frickin' service bravos? At least wear your chucks. We're at Outback. But anyway, so yeah, a sniper, okay, a sergeant major is not going to be a sniper.

He can be a former sniper. A sergeant major is administrative. A sergeant major is, get all the goddamn first sergeants in my office.

I found a frickin' cigarette on the frickin' parade deck. That's a sergeant major. A sergeant major is administrative.

Also, you don't get that rank when you're like 30. And nobody sends an active-duty sergeant major into a sniper hide for nine months. It's funny, they kind of try to show the passage of time, where he's like growing out his afro.

It's like a month's worth of hair growth. Like, it would have been a giant afro. Was that all of them? There was more.

Yeah, nobody's making sergeant major at 30. Sergeant major, you're not an active combatant. You're certainly not being sent on sniper missions by yourself for nine months.

But nobody really cared. The understanding of how the military actually works is very low. For people who don't know, in America, the draft ended like 50 years ago.

So now it's just kind of like the same families. There's almost like a military caste in America. So it's the same families keep sending their kids, and the rest of America just doesn't enlist or get commissioned.

They don't understand that you're not a 30-year-old sergeant major who goes to Outback Steakhouse at your service bravos to get nine-month-long assignments in Russia. What? But nobody cares about that. The race thing, like I said, so I'm not going to fault you if you hear about it, you're like, ah, I don't want to deal with that woke shit.

I'm currently watching Splinter Cell, what is it called? Death Watch for the second time. Well, no, stop. I quit during the first episode when it came out a year ago because I saw a black woman who looked like a lesbian as a replacement for Sam, and I was just like, okay, check please.

It's frickin' 2025 and we're still doing this shit. But it was actually good. First of all, he had been retired for years.

She didn't replace him. Second of all, she was straight. Third of all, with some understandable, like, who the hell are you, once he identifies himself, she's just like, okay.

There's a great line where she's trying to maybe square up against him, and he basically says, good, I haven't had my workout yet today. It's like, ooh, shit. This old man is not to be messed with.

I did laugh at one point where they have the classic, like, you know, he's got the beard and everything, and he goes into the bathroom to shave it, and then he just comes out with a shorter beard. But still a beard. Like, that's not how this bit goes.

The other thing about Splinter Cell Death Watch is Derek Kolstad, who invented John Wick, is basically made that John Wick. So John Wick in the original script wasn't anything like Keanu. He was this crusty old Vietnam vet sniper.

So you can tell that Derek, when he's like, oh, Splinter Cell, he's like, I'll just do my original version of John Wick, which was kind of forgotten about. But yeah, the race discussions were ham-handed, but not without merit or truth. One of the funniest things is for people to say, like, why are these guys talking about racism? It's 2026, that shit's over.

You guys just spent a year shitting yourself about a black Helen of Troy. Like, just shitting yourself. So you can't complain there's no kind of racism at all, and that's not a legitimate thing.

Is it a cliche to have a black hero and talk about racism? Yes, but... Are there black people who, like, they, you know, they're the target of racism, and they're like, that's such a cliche. But it actually happens. So now you need to argue that, like, this never happens.

It's not a factor. And again, five to ten years ago, all the crazy shit that Jon Stewart's parents put him through would have been seen as morally right, and you would have been shamed into agreeing. And now it's like, these motherfuckers is crazy.

And the mom is the worst one. And they're all liars, and they're all nuts. But, yeah, so I fear I'm running out of batteries, so I think I've made my point.

I'm trying to see. Yeah, I mean, it's just the obvious thing. Shitheads who hate things for a living, they just kind of ran to celebrate, but they're celebrating black people being written with flaws, which is the opposite of DEI.

It's actually progress. And it's progress that supposedly everyone should be happy about, because we're not getting these soulful saints who just always do the right thing. We are getting subway pants shitters, as I like to describe the extremely mentally ill people.

So Jon Stewart's parents are a couple of subway pants shitters, just crazier than a shithouse rat, and the mom's the worst one. But that is, weirdly enough, an example of white privilege, because now black people are being written as people. Plot twist.

Anyway, thanks for watching. Bye. Oh, I almost forgot to explain the permission to breathe.

So Jon Stewart is an example of a phenomenon in, I would say, TV more than movies, which I call permission to breathe. And it's the idea that people in the military are like robots, and they're just like, permission to breathe, sir. Permission granted.

Permission to breathe again, sir. Permission granted. Like, nothing in no way resembling the actual military.

So this was a cliché, but 66% of the viewership doesn't know it's a cliché, so I guess it's kind of fine. Anyway, thanks for watching. Bye.

Defending woke shit even though it's woke? "NO goys! The show isn't written by retarded leftists, they ment to write something that stupid. Nevermind the Tom King interview where they said otherwise"
in actual comicsgate news: point and counterpoint.

Richard Meyer is completely irelevant to comicsgate and from the looks of it pretty much always was. He seems to have been the grifter off of grifters. Sloppy seconds from the conmen.
Look. I get that EVS is a major part of the dead movement known as CG, but to ignore Dick just because you "don't see how he's comicsgate" is a crap excuse.
Plus in my opinion anyway. Dick is more fun to make fun of because his takes are so ill informed and pathetic.
THE NIGGER DEFENDED ONE MORE DAY FOR GOD'S SAKE.
Also EVS's version of comicsgate took off after the first Jawbreakers comics. How is that not important to comicsgate?

Dick is more fun to make fun of because his takes are so ill informed and pathetic.
It's mainly because he's actually digestible and it's pretty simple to just dunk on him at random. You can hop in this thread, get through the 10 minutes of rambling horseshit he says, dunk on the parts that you give a shit about and then move on.

I don't see a lot of people actually having the balls to sit through those hours of Ambien streams that Ethan named after the flashcast. Probably because he's really fucking boring besides seething at a black man for outdoing him. Even that's pretty fucking repetitive.

Comparing Comicsgate to a real cult is giving it way too much credit. Cult members believe their own bullshit. This was always just an average lazy affinity scam.

Victims? I don't know about that. After all this trouble and lack of quality, does anyone still even want this bullshit? Do you still want yours?

It's like those fanatics that insist the rapture will happen at an exact date and time. They have to believe that will all end some day, but once it happens they will have nothing.

They just have to hang on to the dream that Frog Rapture is true and will some day come! Coz anticipation is the goal and the comics just an afterthought.

Also lmao "rippaverse is dead for real this time!!"

One of the most disturbing types to me is the victim who posts on indiegogo, and there's several, shit like "if I don't get this one I'll consider not backing anything else."
Lukewarm tolerant of being scammed. Bizarre mind set.

ALL OF THE ABOVE- What's The Best Way To Adapt Comics, Video Games & Manga Into Animation?
Transcript:
Hi everyone, it's your boy Zach. Take two because one of the neighbor's dogs was essentially singing the blues like I've never... like it sounded like he was trying to communicate. It wasn't just barking or howling, he was like... I'm like that's... that's... I think you're becoming conscious.

That's sapience right there. There's a rhythm and a pattern to that. You're just not randomly barking or howling or keening as they say.

It really threw me off. But anyway, there's a lot of good stuff and there's a lot of other stuff. Actually pretty much everything's good of adapting or interpreting comics and manga.

So they just had the latest episode of Ghost in the Shell which is probably the most direct manga to anime. Now they do have a slightly different color palette and they'll choose different angles but they're doing the story. And the problem is is that Shiro is extremely Asperger's autistic and so he never really cared about a three-act structure, a five-act structure.

He would just be like I want to talk about AI and nanotechnology for 10 pages and then he would do that. And the thing is there are sections where there's a ton of action. It's very visual and then sometimes you just get a whole episode of just techno babble and techno philosophy.

You're like oh shit this is really really rough. But it's good. It's very good.

I actually love it. Even in the episodes that are kind of boring because it's just people spouting 10 to 20 pages of Shiro techno babble. It's good.

It's really really good. It's probably my favorite ever. And then we got things like Nightfall which is a very very accurate with some changes adaptation of the Nightfall storyline.

I've just watched that thing like five times since it came out what like a week ago. Absolutely love it. Then you have stuff like Lanterns or Lanterns which is they're just vamping.

They're taking the source material and they're doing what they will. That's why I get so annoyed by these kind of like babyish and of course they're screaming like YouTubes and TikToks. It's like they they changed the source material.

He's a marine. That was changed source material. Correct me if I'm wrong but that was created by the Justice League showrunners.

They just wanted you know some contrast with the other characters. So let's you know they said he's in a corps. Let's make him a marine.

It's like an easy you know A to A comparison. So I mean he's been multiple different things throughout the course of 56 years or 55 years however long Jon Stewart's been around. It still feels like he's a new character.

Maybe because people are always discovering him as if he's new and then claiming ownership while knowing nothing about him. Like getting angry that they changed you know the portrayal of the parents which has been portrayed multiple ways in the comics over years. Getting angry about significantly changing him when they I mean the character had been around for 30 years where they're like let's just make him a marine with a high and tight.

Okay that's not really the character from the comic. Let's just go with it and everyone loves that aspect of it. And then I mean you got Splinter Cell which is from a year ago but that one is just like the showrunner was just like this is the original continuity.

So there wasn't really significant retcons or changes. It was just the characters 20 years later. Which I was confused.

They got this like command center and it's just all these old ladies. It's like why is the command center just a bunch of women in their 50s 60s? Well it's because you know they were in their 30s and 40s and then a couple decades went by. But the question then becomes like what is the right way to do it? Should you do direct adaptations? Should you vamp? Or should you just you know completely add or change it? And to that I would say yes.

Do all of them. We're not babies. We can handle it.

I've gotten a lot of enjoyment out of things that were very direct adaptations like Ghost in the Shell and Nightfall and I've loved things like Justice League which completely revamped Jon Stewart's character. So much so that people think that's the original and absolutely it's not the original version. The original version is, wait for it, very very very political.

Made by a couple of white liberals. It was Neil Adams and Denny O'Neill. And I mean go read the Hard Traveling Heroes.

That is cartoonishly liberal. But that's what they wanted. So I'm trying to think there's some other things.

Then you get X-Men 97 which I'm like halfway through the second season. I heard it totally flames out on the episodes that are not written by Beau DeMeo. The first couple from the season I liked quite well.

But yeah this probably could have been an email. What is the right way to adapt comics or manga? All of them. Direct slavish adaptations, reinterpretations, just straight up vamping and doing whatever the fuck you want with it.

One of the things that really just drives me nuts when people criticize them is they say that characters making bad decisions is bad writing. But if they all made good decisions you wouldn't have a story. It would just be a bunch of people doing their taxes on like January 2nd.

It's like oh oh no tax deadline approaches. Luckily I did all my taxes on January 2nd. Like what is that? There's no story there.

But I feel like it's kind of hot outside. So there's a couple there's a couple other things right now right? I mean nightfall. Nightfall and Gose's shout just right there is amazing.

I'm loving lanterns. Sorry lanterns! You cannot convince me that true thoughtful things are shouted. I just feel like if you have an actual thought you can just say it like this.

You don't have to scream it at the top of your lungs for 50 minutes and 37 seconds or whatever these ungodly lengths of videos are. But go out there enjoy it if you can. If you can't, get the fuck out of here.

I posted about like oh I noticed this in episode three of Lanterns and a guy had to comment I didn't even notice there was an episode three. Okay everybody chip in chip in five dollars everybody send five dollars we're gonna we're gonna get this guy a plaque or a trophy or perhaps a rosin statue of himself commemorating the moment where he typed that. I didn't even notice there was an episode three.

Well I did. I did and it was the worst of the three. But it still introduced some interesting concepts and it gave John Stewart and his family white privilege which is the ability to have an interesting character by having a ton of flaws.

I really feel like there's one or two things that are current that I'm not talking about. There's this yeah Street Fighter looks good. Pretty excited about that.

They got a new trailer out yesterday. I'm really digging Chun-Li. I think she's gonna be my favorite but very very very excited about that.

Clayface soon. What else? That's it. Oh Stranger Worlds just totally flamed the fuck out.

Like flamed the fuck out. Although I did like the puppet episode because it was a dream. So it's funny you get these people breathlessly you know examining the errors in sci-fi in a dream.

It's just Spock just had a weird dream. I'm like all right fine and they didn't do a bit where it's like or did he. It's like no it was actually 100% a dream.

All right fine. Anyways killing me. I feel like there's two other things that I should be including in this set but it's kind of hot out.

Thanks for watching. Bye.

Why hasn't anyone bullied this faggot off the internet?

Because he's in such a closed off hugbox within Youtube that no one really seems to care enough to go after him. He's basically been forgetten about. The types of people who would be going after him hardcore are on X/Bluesky which are places Meyer refuses to use because of how "toxic" they are.

Rippaverse can never sell another comic again and it won't change the fact that EVS and Ya Boi are nothing but lazy grifters who fucked up their chance at making something special.
