Does this Cryaotic situation really come as a shock to anyone? The dude's cultivated an audience of naive and easy to manipulate adolescents while propagating the idea that he's this chill progressive guy that's all inclusive while surrounding himself and primarily interacting with young girls/women.

I'd have been surprised if it was proven that he WASN'T a groomer/pedo.

that's literally my point.

for example, markiplier also checks all the boxes the dude listed (audience of adolescents with a particularly heavy concentration of young girls, chill/progressive attitude) and never molested anyone. hindsight is 20/20, sure, but pretending that it was super obvious the whole time because of reasons that strongly overlap between every other e-celeb is pretty exceptional, in my opinion.
