So not much has been going on, but I found out that Alex Davis has left Buzzerblog, and is no longer working for them, which is why this Matthew Pinnock guy is now writing articles for them.

YouTuber Cody Detwiler, who goes by WhistlinDiesel has posted a follow-up video on his arrest for tax evasion on 11/12/25. With the information he provides it appears the state is attempting to railroad him. They contacted his accountant during the investigation and advised her to not move his assets and become legal, and to not inform him of this possible issue.

They are also pursuing a gag order to prohibit him from talking about the case at all and specifically called out they do not want him to make money off of his videos on the case. The court hearing on the gag order is this Monday.
