What's for dinner? Mrs. D$P is making "Chicken Pot Pie.... not homemade, like the frozen kind..." Looks like Mrs. D$P put her time to good use while shopping at Costco. Then again he always says that 'she's making x', and we know her Chipolte chicken is a heat and serve frozen meal kit.

For all D$P touts how much healthier he's eating due to Mrs. D$P, Panda taught herself to cook and rarely served him some prefab frozen food. She served him green vegetables, salads and vegetarian meals; all home made*. Mrs. D$P? Fresh from the freezer seems to be what she prefers with her idea of vegetables being corn or peas.

Does it seem odd that Phil knows at 10:00am what will be for dinner at 6:00pm?

Phil is extremely controlling and afraid of surprises or change ( :autism: ) and food is probably the one thing he's enthusiastic about anymore, while Katherine seems to go through the same 10 or so recipes in order. Combine the two and it's not too surprising that he asks and she's already either figured it out. Hell, if you went through his prestreams you could probably figure out what she'll be cooking every night for the next six months.

TL,DR: It'd be weirder if they weren't.

...not really, considering:

In other news: D$P really likes Sushi with crab, tempura shrimp or eel. He has, however NEVER eaten any sushi made with Raw Fish.

The meal plan like he’s at a cafeteria. He ate sushi again? In my experience eel rolls are usually the most expensive roll
The video's from when he was still (openly) spending like a drunken sailor back in 2014.

Also, are you really surprised that Phil equated "most expensive" with "best"?

. . .and then add to that several times recently after streamchat has asked him 'Why can't Kat pick up some groceries on her own?' Phil will shout at them 'She can't go grocery shopping by herself because then SHE WON'T KNOW WHAT TO GET!!!!'

Phil is extremely controlling about his food routine.

Phil seems to exclusively take them to fancyish expensive restaurants, maybe they went to Sonic for Kathy's birthday because Phil actually let her pick where she wanted to go. Maybe Midwest Casserole Kathy just wanted a burger and a sugary slush for her birthday. Of course Phil sees an opportunity to spin his wife's modest desires into a pity e-begging narrative.

Can’t he just make a list lol fuckin hell. Unless he’s just buying whatever he thinks would be good at the time, which is weird considering he he probably still has his meal schedule

He can make a list sure. But can't risk Kat seeing something she likes and buying it as well, that can mess with his meal schedule dood!

Puts down chicken pot pie on the list, and Kat might come home with chicken pot pie and beef pot pie, nothing he could do. Now he's depressed.

kat might get a cheaper version of something he likes
or something with reduced sodium, or fat free, or sugar free
and it wont taste the same, okay?

It's probably more because Pig would get pissed that he'd actually have to make up a real version of dating or social activity, since shopping together was one of the lowest effort ideas he could come up with that didn't make him wobble and bug-out in fear. Pig hates people, and Pig especially hates effort that requires dealing with people.

That and Pig definitely buys for brand and probably refuses to ever go for generic or some other brand due to serious autism. You still may be right that he is also just being a clingy fruitloop.

He also makes a large distinction between things he wants and things he does not, despite being in a relationship: He subscribes to multiple streaming services and might actually pay more for WWE Subscription than if he bought one-time access for the 2 or 3 events a year he watches, but when pressed he insists those are basic necessities. Conversely, when Leanna got hospitalized (and again when he didn't think to take her off his cellphone plan until a half-year after they broke up), the idea of paying for either was a crime against humanity. It's hard to exaggerate how controlling or selfish Phil is without getting Mad at the Internet.

He was sooo salty on a stream once when he explained how Khet bought some microwave food or pre-cooked meal and how disgusting it was. The whole time he had this attitude that he knew it would be shit.

Also that time he woke up sick Panda to cook him dinner during the stream.

Fudge_Pakkins cheered 50 bits and asks, "Phil, what's your favorite snack food?" Umm, I never snack. Honestly, I never eat snacks. I'm really healthy now and don't snack.

I ate an entire frozen pizza for a snack.

I ate a half pound of muffins for a snack and got sick.

Stinksydephill cheered and asked, "How's the gout?" First, my name only has one l, ack ack ack. Moron. Second, I don't have gout. I've changed my diet. No red meat.

Red_rokkit cheered and asked, "What's for dinner, Phil?" Umm, dinner tonight is a half pound of red meat with a few glasses of gin. Ganjafan420 cheered and says, "You never eat any vegetables" umm wrong. I eat ramen every night. Enjoy the ban.

I don't get mad at Pig anymore because he found a way to be a miserable manchild fearing the outside, cats, and his own fucking wife on 100k a year.

His life is drunken failure and tears, all because he's anti-social and can't be arsed to budget.
