Cooking with Kat (and DSP) thread

I don't have the addresses for his condo and his parent's house handy, but I'm pretty sure they were between 5 and 20 minutes apart.

Phil classically says he bought the condo to save time driving to work. First, he didn't drive, he "carpooled" (it's not carpooling if you never drive), Second, saving 15 minutes a day isn't worth $130,000. Fucking retard.

He actually bought the condo because he wanted to date the girl who gave him a ride to work. "Oh no Sparkletor, that's a rumor Kiwis made up!" No. This has been common knowledge and people have been teasing him about it since his Street Fighter days. He bragged about how he dropped $130k on a condo to get some chick and when she ghosted his ass, everyone made fun of him. Synth, who knew Phil in real life, confirmed this.
It still makes me laugh thinking about the level of incel Phil had to be at 30 to think that if he buys a condo that a girl has had sex in before she might have sex with him if he lived there.

'Oh, your boyfriend is moving, but he still needs to sell his condo? Well I could buy it (and then you'll totally sex me there because you've sexed other people there before)!'

Or like she was going to go 'Ooo, look at the Big-Dick Chad taking out a government assisted loan from the bank to be able to buy this condo.'

That after he tried that he had to have his mommy come over once a week to clean it and do his laundry just takes the cake.

OMG, you have to see this!
I apologise if you have already but this is so special, I had to share it.
DSP doesn't know how to use a whisk.
He was whisking his eggs by tapping the bottom of the bowl.

His cooking process is always so retarded, but I have to be honest his eggs came out actually looking pretty decent iirc.

I want to defend him here because Phil's upbringing was obviously far from normal, but I can't on account of the fact that once he finally had sex he stopped wanting it and completely expected his first girlfriend to be okay with that.

Phil is a lot like one of those characters in a story that didn't exactly get dealt a great hand, and you want to root for them, but then they start doing awful shit and keep doing it no matter how many times there are consequences for it, so you just can't anymore. He had a great opportunity to be the guy who escaped a terrible fate and actively DECIDED to continue being stupid, selfish, lazy, impulsive, and offensive. That's what gets me the most with Phil, through all of the numerous prompts to stop being a piece of shit, he has CHOSEN to be a villain, and has the audacity to always play the victim.

6-8 minutes with normal traffic, 14-16 in rush hour. Even going from the condo building to Phil's house (it and the helicopter plant were in opposite directions) to the helicopter plant is only 18 minutes so maybe 30 with traffic + getting through the lot.

Also why wouldn't Dave have given Phil a lift? Didn't Phil work under him at the helicopter plant initially?

To be fair he was living with his parents before then. Buying the condo to flex on her was retarded but so is the idea that any self respecting woman would date a twenty-seven-year-old who still lives with Mommy and Daddy. Hell I'd have serious questions if that came up even in casual conversation.

Mama Burnelli did all the homestyle Italian cooking for him it seems, looks like he probably wouldn't even know how to scramble some eggs properly as well.

In his telling the 'tism sauce is her exact family recipe. I would pay money to see other examples of her cooking.

EDIT:

Google Maps is the gift that keeps on giving, there is a zoo not ten minutes from his parents' house. This puts a whole new Oedipal spin on his obsession with taking his pet women there.

Fill talks about what a great cook his mom was but considering how he can only walk to a corner store to pick up grilled cheese and tomato soup I'm kinda doubting Fill's mom did anything more than reheat QVC food as well.
She hoards not only stuff but animals. She hoards innocent life. That's fucked up.
It explains a lot.

It's not that strange that Phil says that about his mother while not ever cooking for himself. I mean it is, but it's predictable, because look at what his two girlfriends have been for him: mothers.

In fact, has anyone ever been a source of inspiration to Phil? I mean someone he looks up to, actually respects, makes him feel motivated to do things. Doesn't seem to be, which says a lot about how determined he has always been to live exactly the same way as he did at home, forever.

You know it, brother!! :hulk:

You joke, but wrestling probably is fairly responsible for Phil's stubbornly shitty behavior, because he acts like a heel and expects to still be liked. Remember, he watched Stone Cold do a lot of heel shit and become a legend, legit thinking that it was real.

This has been asked multiple times on ask the king and sometimes in stream chat. The answer is always a no. Phil is his own role model. He doesn't look up to anyone because humans are fallible.

I think one time he did say his role model was Garfield the cat. I might have that confused with someone else. Don't quote me on this.

Leave it to Phil to try to look wise and wind up powerfully displaying his lack of wisdom instead. Role models don't have to be infallible, they just have to inspire you in a way that has a positive impact. Though that's obviously not the reason that Phil has never been inspired by anyone, it's because he's too stubborn about being an asshole.

I don't remember his exact words but he has said something along the lines of, he looks up to Edward Snowden. Given his beyond tone-deaf response to the Capitol riots this week I feel confident saying he entire knowledge of what Snowden did was a Buzzfeed headline and possibly the word "metadata".

Not to mention the irony of somebody like Phil, who never stops having shit to worry about being exposed for, praising a guy who is known for having exposed people doing shady shit. It's like Lex Luthor looking up to Clark Kent.

Oh man, you must not have been around when Street Fighter V came out back in 2016.

Normally he does OK in the first few weeks when everybody is new to the game but this didn't happen here. He got slaughtered and I do not believe he has gone back to it since then even on his SF streams. Normies like you and me would probably go "Wow I suck lol" or "eh it's not for me". But not Phil. Instead he went on a rant about how the FGC was covering up defective netcode and proclaimed himself "the Edward Snowden of the FGC" for his trouble - I swear this is not a joke.

they look alright, they just haven't been whisked properly and are over cooked, that's all

Overcooked? That's relatively subjective, and they're still a bit gooey which is what a lot of people would call undercooked. Whatever I'm not saying they look like a masterpiece but compared to the slop he usually shat out during that series? Relatively edible.
