okay so, basically, i don't want it to be a "girls rule, boys drool" sort of situation nor do i want the opposite; like, female characters should face challenges because of their gender sometimes, but they should also have power and agency, not just as individuals, but within the setting as a whole. i dont expect a utopia but im not big on grimdark sexism-fest or olde timey women-belong-in-the-kitchen attitudes either.
Alright, so, mi nuh want it fi be like a "gyal dem rule, bwoy dem drool" kinda vibe, nor di opposite neither. Like, mi want di female characters dem fi face some challenges because dem a woman, yeh, but dem fi have power an' agency too, not just as individuals, but in di whole setting. Mi nuh expect no perfect utopia, but mi nuh really into dat grimdark sexism overload or dem old-school "woman fi stay inna di kitchen" attitudes either, y'know.
