Covid 19 update (Ottawa division)

Two weeks ago, when Clotso was rolling her eyes at the utter stupidity of the sheeple stocking up on supplies, there were no confirmed cases in Ottawa. The first two appeared the next day.

As of last Friday, March 27, there were 75 cases in Ottawa.

This morning, there are 106 known cases, a 42% increase in under two days. No word if any of the new cases had been to Farm Boy or worked for Uber Eats.

Corona-chan, as was predicted, is coming home to roost in a city near you, and Ottawa is no exception.

If anything's gonna happen to Clotso, watch for it in the next three weeks or so...

The only reason why I hope she doesn't get the virus is because she's a wobbling endangerment to the entire nation. She has poor hygiene as is and she's not exactly known for being considerate of others. I also don't trust her to properly wash those hideous talons. As for right now, it's hard to guess whether she has it until she gets tested and even then it can take a few tries to eventually test positive but no one's gonna waste resources on her unless she has serious symptoms.

Dying due to the virus seems quite terrifying but I couldn't care less for a cow who just can't stick to simple guidelines that don't even restrict her daily routine anyway. Her poor health and poor hygiene make her a welcoming host for the virus and I'd even argue that her chances of carrying it and spreading it to others are higher than those of the average Joe. Most provinces in Canada that are stopping eviction processes are doing so for non-payment of rent. If you're being evicted for other reasons, I think those evictions can still occur. That's in theory; I'm not sure if the agencies responsible for handling that stuff are still working other than dire "landlord/tenant" emergencies. At the best of times, evictions in our province are unwieldy affairs with many steps & the Landlord/Tenant board tending to favour tenants to a ridiculous degree & I say that as a tenant. It will be interesting to see how this pans out towards the middle of April when she's supposed to move.
