First of all, all your animals are absolutely the cutest, I'm very envious of you, please give them a cuddle from me
Secondly, I'm thinking of getting a gecko as a pet. Context: I've owned cats, dogs and hamsters, unfortunately while I'd love to adopt a cat/dog/rat/hamster/bunny/budgie etc., I cannot do so at this moment. I work from home too little and I cannot bear the thought of leaving my pet by itself all day long, but I also really miss having a little creature with whom to share my house with.
After a little bit of research it seems that reptiles would be a good solution for me, in particular I read that geckos are pretty chill, do not require too much interaction with humans, are pretty easy to keep and as a bonus are gorgeous as hell. However, I've never had any reptiles so,
TL,DR: does anyone here have any experience with them? Would you recommend geckos for a first-time reptile owner? What's the commitment/costs like?
