Also people testified at his trial that he had hired them to dig "drainage trenches" in his crawlspace as well as bought bags of quicklime. Presumably this was before it was full of dead bodies and indicated premeditation, because those are the very trenches ultimately filled with bodies. The crawlspace had a trap door. All he'd have to do is drop the bodies down the trap door and drag them into a trench, then pour quicklime over them, then keep adding bodies until the trench was full before covering it.

It's pretty clear he planned on killing a large number of people before he even started in earnest.

The case of Nora Quoirin

Mentally disabled girl disappeared out of an apartment in Malaysia in nothing but underwear. Her family didn't notice that she disappeared trough a window. She was found unharmed (!) but dead in the jungle and her feet were clean (!!). How did she move barefoot trough the jungle without hurting her feet?? There was also a Shaman who was hired because she couldn't be found and said she was taken by a Jinn. Something very weird happened to this poor girl. Also the place were she was found was searched before and she had been dead for a few days. And she wasn't hidden under a bush or something. She was lying in the open for everyone to see which means she was placed there.

After few days rotting in a Malaysian jungle, her feet were definitely not clean. IIRC she just died of a burst ulcer from starvation/dehydration, exacerbated by her severe disability. I experienced something similar at that age and it nearly killed me, would have died within a few hours, let alone 9 days without prompt treatment, and I was in very good shape and not retarded (?).
It also happens a lot that search parties pass over or very close by to bodies, and that's not in a dense jungle either. Misadventure is a logical ruling IMO unless further evidence comes out.

Michael's case begins with the abduction of his mother, Suzanne Sevakis. Franklin Delano Floyd had married Suzanne's biological mother in North Carolina, while using an alias name. Two of the girls eventually turned up at a children's home, but Suzanne and her one-year-old brother were still missing. She gave birth to Michael in Tampa, Florida on March 21, 1988 while apparently using the alias Tonya Dawn Tadlock. It is known that Floyd used the aliases Charles Hughes and Clarence Marcus Hughes during this time; authorities believe that this was the reason Michael was given the last name of Hughes at birth. In another bizarre twist, Floyd and Michael's mother were married in New Orleans in 1989. Both Floyd and the woman were wanted in connection with a Florida homicide by 1990. Before any legal action could be taken against them, the woman was killed in a suspicious hit-and-run vehicular accident in Oklahoma City in April 1990. Floyd is the main suspect in her death.

Investigators found sexually explicit photos of Suzanne as a child in Floyd's pickup truck, which has led them to believe she was sexually abused by him.

In April 1990, Suzanne's co-worker from a strip club told her she should leave Floyd to avoid her death, and run off with her child. At the time, Suzanne had a secret relationship with Kevin Brown, who was the father of her son, Michael Hughes. The two eventually ran away with Michael.

Floyd abducted Michael from Indian Meridian Elementary School in Choctaw, Oklahoma on September 12, 1994. He held school officials at gunpoint and forced Michael and the principal into the principal's pickup truck. Floyd tied the principal to a tree in a nearby field and escaped with Michael. The principal was rescued several hours later and was not physically harmed. Michael has never been seen again. A month after the kidnapping, the stolen pickup truck turned up in Dallas, Texas.

I smell a triple murder (including Suzanne's friend) once sick fuck Floyd found out Michael wasn't his; he had developmental problems before being placed in foster care but was tested and disproven to be an incest baby (Thank God). The disappearance of Tara Calico has always creeped me out, particularly the polaroids of her and the little boy tied up in the back of a van that surfaced but never amounted to anything.

One thing that always got me about that polaroid was the book sitting right next to her, My Sweet Audrina by VC Andrews. Long story short, a man visits Silgo, Ireland, checks in a hotel using the Peter Bergmann alias, and a few days later appears dead on the beach. During his autopsy it was discovered that he had cancer and was likely in serious pain, so the leading theory is that he traveled to a peaceful area to die quietly.

Here's a very well made short documentary on the case, including interviews and the CCTV footage. I haven't checked any of the other videos on YouTube that talk about this because they look clickbatey, but they may have additional relevant information.

Yet another 'mysterious man travelling somewhere to die' case is that of David Lytton. He died from strychnine poisoning and was eventually ID'd by a surgical implant in his leg. Did he choose to die by strychnine or was he poisoned? Why did he choose to die on Saddleworth Moor, somewhere he had no discernible connection to in life.
Channel 4 did a very good doco on the police investigation and Lyttons background called "The Mystery of the Man on the Moor" but I can't find it on the tubes or channel 4's own site anymore.
