Creepy Unsolved Mysteries - From unsolved murders to unidentified people to unexplained supernatural events, what are some of the creepiest unsolved mysteries you've ever heard of?

The Amy case is retarded. Bitch fell off the boat. End of story. Who knew alcohol and boats didn't mix well?

Nobody in the sex trade is abducting some middle class white woman. That only happens in the minds of TikTokers who believe in gang-stalking. You really think some gang is going to take heat like that when they've got plenty of women nobody gives a shit about? Get fucking real
The sex trafficking shit is primarily hopes and copes by the family because it means a higher likelihood of them being alive.

But it has become so ubiquitous in troo crime that I’ve seen dumpy middle aged women scared of being trafficked because of all the theories that have popped up about missing women and children. So there’s a weird, fucked up aspect of it that validates them. Yep, the demand is sky high for some 45 year old pear shaped woman with a cottage cheese ass. Totally. There are a bunch of freaks in true crime to where it probably is a net negative for them to be around. But true crime podcasts are extremely lucrative, many clear six figures easy. So looks like the retarded trafficking theories will continue for the foreseeable future 😑

This is why I can't watch YouTube videos from true crime people. All of them are going with the trafficked claim even though the Bradleys keep changing details and the escort pictures are missing her multiple tattoos.

Why would they take a middle class lady traveling with her family and risk attracting media attention when it's easier to lure poor girls and force them into doing sex work to pay off the cost?

Don't even get me started on the assumptions that Amy also had kids. Why the hell would traffickers allow a victim to be pregnant or give birth?

Amy's brother is now insisting that two women Scientologists might have kidnapped her and he wants them to be investigated because she talked to them once or something.

I swear, all I learned from that documentary is that Amy wasn't as close to her family as they tried to come off in the past, and that her family is kind of sketchy and kept important information private.

It's a horrible situation but holy hell, her family didn't come off well.

The mom talking about her possibly having grandchildren, which would have been born from an incredibly traumatic situation, was just weird.

Reminds me of that Japanese chick from Hawaii that went missing a few months ago where her dad committed seppuku looking for her. Turns out she her family didn’t know her as well as they claimed and she eventually was found. But because her family had no idea who she really was, it got in the way of actually finding her.

Of course the troo crime set assumed she was sex trafficked and discounting that theory meant you were a monster and probably a rapist and sex trafficker yourself.

I remember her and the father killing himself. Yes, this reminds me of her. Her college friend and her girlfriend seemed to know the real her.

Amy's family claimed she was scared of heights, and Kat, her first girlfriend, says Amy loved being adventurous and went bungee jumping.

Honestly at this point after seeing her brother's comments after this documentary came out, I wouldn't be surprised if Amy actually made a sudden decision to kill herself while drunk. It makes me wonder what Brad said to her before she disappeared.

I remember Yellow claimed Amy told him that she was forced to go on the trip because she was gay, and that she didn't want to go.

This also reminds me that her family kept constantly talking about how so many men on the ship wanted her, and it makes me wonder if they were insisting this because she was gay.

Suicide or not, I think she fell, and Bradley has been sketchy since this show came out.

Everyone surrounding this case is a liar, attention-seeker, and conartist. I was watching the documentary and that navy guy has got to be the biggest lying sacks of shit on this planet.

'What do I have to gain for this?' he asks well that's the thing about old men with nothing better to do, they make shit up for attention with nothing to gain.

People have said that the woman who told the bathroom story sounded like she was over performing and I agree.

The fact that her parents would rather Amy be alive and in some tormented life as a trafficking sex victim instead of being at peace is honestly disturbing to me.

It's a shitty situation and it's horrible losing someone this way but I don't understand wanting her to be in that kind of hell.

I can see families being afraid to give up looking for a missing loved one because what if they are alive somewhere, if they stop looking and if they’d just held on a little longer they’d be found. I watched America’s Most Wanted and Unsolved Mysteries regularly as a kid through my teens and the families who didn’t know what happened to their loved ones were the hardest to watch.

Which is why some parents buy into the human trafficking angle because it means they’re still alive out there somewhere and there’s hope that they can be rescued like in the movie Taken.

Can someone fill me in on how she involved herself with the case and made it about her? I can't find a lot of people talking about it without just glad-handing the bitch on True Crime reddits. I always had a gut feeling her "involvement" was overstated and she died at a precipitous time for True Crime podcasters and journos to talk her up.
She mostly rubbed people the wrong way with her dramatic descriptions of how driving around or being obsessed with the case made her cool and edgy beause it was the same mental pathology as the killer himself, and so on with painting herself as some gritty noir detective PI. It was pretty cringe how she played movie star/crime thriller with the whole thing. Really hateable journalist behaviour.
it was creepy how fast he remarried and to a woman who looked very similar to her
Not at all creepy for an actor. Those people are just gross in general.

The kid was found dead after a party or something with no clue how he died

Here is the priest murder episode. By the way can we talk about how Robert Stack had the most impactful voice ever? He could be chilling, soothing, and even funny (watch the Disney Hercules cartoon series).

Here have a treat for being such a great thread

I think you are talking about Kurt Sova who's story is in this video. Still hasn't been solved and his parents are sadly dead.

Groomer killed him. It actually is sad and there literally are many such cases.
Pretty interesting that a couple years later that the family started doing outreach to the fags. The Wikipedia article is sanitized and the troo crime set will never mention or inquire why the family thought that was worthwhile to reach out but somehow they got some intel that he got involved with groomer fags. Plus we all know how much the Bri’ish care about underaged grooming. It’s a surprise they arrested anyone at all, even if they eventually got released.
