The only part of the original that was bad was the autistic aiming controls but like any game that is not shovelware garbage, the control scheme does take some getting used to.

I felt the aiming (and tank controls) added to the horror of the game. I don't like how they changed it to regular gunplay in the remake.

Crowb's biggest issue is that he is thirsty as hell for efame and he's not above being extremely deceptive in order to get those sweet sweet clicks.

Dude is that the first thing you are thinking of when those comments "disappear"? There are thousands of new comments, and you conclude to him deleting them? I mean believe what you want to believe. I wouldn't mind being wrong, but it just seems so unlikely to be the case; however, it is possible since the owner of a video can search those comments (and delete them) by using youtube manager. You still do not verifiably know that he deleted them though

crowbcat made the video in a way that seemed slightly positive over fucking VR while he still has videos about showing how vr is niche as fuck and won't be able to stand itself as a dedicated platform, which is kind of true, vr should be treated as joysticks in flight sims or driving wheels in driving games, extra accessory to help immersion, not mandatory for the game to work.

I've not tried VR myself (lack of money and space) but I believe the proponents of it. I don't mind VR only games because you can't simply make the same game for flat screen and have it work just as well, in the same way those retro demakes of games are recognizable but different.

Yep he went full /v/ on a game where redditors and youtubers were already praising. Black 4 Blood, Evolve, Law Breakers wasnt him developing some epic piece to start the down fall. All his videos were the final blow basically where he took weeks of info and perception to make a video on it. Only this time he thought /v/ was the source of info this time.

I can appreciate going against the grain, and some of the points are spot on in regard to technological abilities that basically went away either due to using a limited generic engine, decrease in the abilities of the programmers, or just not caring.

being honest look at the video and you'll know that NSJAP's video makes sense, this is basically RE7 with a RE4 map expansion, even salazar was changed to be a grotesque disgusting thing that fat fetishists would love, the game changes and tones down so much in hopes to make things more realistic and horrifying that it would work against someone who is willfully ignorant of the OG RE4, in the comment section there is so many people coping around that RE4 demake was butchered beyond belief that they only agree with ada's VA being deader than the dead sea but also toss "it's not for everyone" cope, RE2 remake at least kept the action pacing to compensate the graphical updates but RE4? nah, butchering the merchant's VA is even worse but i kind of get wanting to avoid VA union bullshit even if there is 0.0001% chance of them being involved, what is funny is the "nostalgia cope" some fags throw in there too, like nigger i couldn't even afford a PS2 when i was a poor little nigga, let alone play RE4 which was considered horror game back then and no sane parent would let their child touch it and even i can see the glaring changes as well as mechanical, the pit death while fun does serve a purpose of not letting the player relax on RE4 while on RE:RE4 it's removed because ????

I've had a pretty fun discussion with a dear friend of mine regarding this. RE4 is one of his favourite games of all time, I played a bit of the original and jumped at the idea of the game being remade.

We agreed in the end on the fact that while the original is more of a Robert Rodriguez movie, or Evil Dead 2 by Sam Raimi, the remake feels and plays more like Evil Dead (2013), so more horror and less crazy batshit stuff.

Regarding the audio editing, either way his video was already showcasing different elements that proved the pros and cons of the original vs the remake, so I don't see the point of purposefully lowering the ambient audio in certain sections just for more clout.
