My biggest problem with crypto is how they are so painfully unfunny, every project is like:

I blame the success of Dogecoin. On the one hand, it made the concept of cryptocurrency more approachable to newbies and allowed them to learn about the concepts while having fun. On the other hand, it is to this day spawning copycat projects that are obnoxiously cutesy and silly for no other reason than to be cutesy and silly.

Remember almost all shitcoins that aren't outright pump-and-dump scams and/or premined bullshit are incompetently run and similarly won't exist in any usable form in a year or so. There are dozens of these, you can buy and sell them on exchanges, but literally nobody actually takes them.

Now they think they are some financial guru. Dispensing advice to mostly botted audience accounts. It is the final stage "hussle culture" where you have to "fake it til you make it." Meanwhile these idiots are out of work and actively hurting other idiots following them.
