In a surprising move, Valve’s latest CS2 update now allows stickers to be placed almost anywhere on weapons, and in any rotation. This has instantly led to some creative crafts, as well as some downright offensive ones.

Ever since stickers were added to CS:GO, they have been limited to four pre-set spots on weapons. This meant that while players could personalize their skins, they didn’t have total freedom.

On February 6, the first major content update for CS2 went live, and threw a spanner in the works with the ability to place stickers anywhere on weapons, as well as all weapons now supporting five stickers.

Of course, the inevitable happened, as players quickly found ways to make bizarre, funny, or simply offensive words or drawings with the sticker placement.
Although it was already possible to spell out three or four-letter words with some sticker combinations, this new update has made it far easier.
Because some stickers include lettering, such as ‘GG’ (good game), these stickers in particular have shot up in price on the Steam market.

The obvious reason for this rise is players using the sticker to spell out words – in some cases, very offensive words.

Others are using the new tools to make predictably juvenile shapes.

This would have been a predictable outcome too, considering the same has been done in other games like Call of Duty, whenever this level of customization is permitted.

Whether or not creating offensive sticker crafts would ever be a bannable action though, is unknown. In Call of Duty for example, players reported for creating offensive emblems would often lose the ability to make emblems.

The sticker update generally in CS2 has caused confusion, as the skin market tries to react. Some of the most expensive stickers in the game are worth tens of thousands of dollars, and this update could either make them even pricier or crash the market entirely.

Cope harder niggers, if you want to play gay faggot games where even the most innocuous of decals get you banned you can stick to Faggot Horizon

Don't pay for Forza. Pirate it.

They don't give a shit about cheaters, multiplayer has problems with netcode, scandals in dubious time records.
They are ban heavy, they are nepotists (they unban friends of big youtubers, devs).
They ban people for petty reasons like in that article. They even banned for using forza painter program if you want to recreate illustrations without fucking spending a lot of time in a game.

I don’t even bother with playing Forza, the games peaked with Motorsport 4 for the Xbox 360. Motorsport 8 according to my friends is a buggy trainwreck and I have zero interest in the “HELLO THERE FRIEND!!!! WOW DID YOU JUST PUT YOUR FOOT ON A GAS PEDAL???? OH MY SCIENCE YOU ARE SO AMAZING HERES A FREE CORVETTE FOR YOU BECAUSE PROGRESSION IS FOR CHUDS AM I RIGHT” slop Horizon has become.

I use Cheat Engine to buy my favorite cars. No way I am gonna grind to obtain some cars.
Forza Horizon is worth more than Motorsport, you have much more roads, customization.

Another worth games are Test Drive unlimited Platinum mod or pay for Assetto Corsa. It is cheap and very moddable. But it is hard to play in campaign mode.

If you give a man a creative tool he WILL use it to draw dicks, titties and write slurs. I take great pride in using excess Diffractor ammo to cover the walls in giant penises and multiple instances of NIGGER in DRG. Godspeed, CS2 dudes, even if your game is dogshit.

Is CS2 worse than CSGO? I didn't play those games. I heard many players are upset that controls, behavior of the game has changed.

Oh I wouldn't know, I've hated CS since 1.6, and since all future iterations were advertised as more of the same, I have no reason to change my stance. Slow-moving, crouching, hitscan crap isn't what I find fun. Need at least some form of explosive jumping.

It's the same game, if you are a ultra tryhard CS player, there are some technical things that annoys you (cheating problems and no 128 tick option). If you are a causal, the only issue is that there are less game modes right now.

Valve isn't going to shit where they eat just because someone else told them to do so. They're already getting backlash over CS2 replacing CS:GO and being worse, they just released a massive update that gained back some of that good will from the community, and all those stickers and skins cost real money. CS is Valve's biggest cash cow besides Steam itself, and anything they could do to stop this evil sticker abuse would fuck with their bottom line.

Delete the offending items outright? That's hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars down the drain, that'll scare away the player from investing his money into the game and will cause fear and uncertainty in the playerbase that'll also lead to less people spending their money on cases and skins.

Remove the new sticker placement feature? People love that shit because they finally got something awesome from CS2 that CS:GO never offered, so that'll piss away all the goodwill gained with this update.

And no, Valve sure as hell isn't going to take valiant effort to make a system where you can report skins, those reports will then be verified by Valve employees and then the stickers will be moved from the skin to the inventory. One, it takes too much effort and Valve is known for not giving a shit when it comes to moderating user generated content in their games like that, and two, what's stopping that player from reapplying those stickers again? And what then? Delete the stickers/skins? Ban him? It'll loop back to the two points mentioned above.
