It doesn't have the meme potential or enough 'relatable' characters for these spergs to be anything more than passively interested in it, doesn't stop fans from making shitty oc's and bendy and the ink machine crossover porn though.

Well it's kinda like that. They trash this game because it's not their kind of art, they don't want something that both plays and looks good. They want some 2deep4u walking simulator type they can brag to each-other about how deep it is.

They've taken; "games are art" to such a level that gameplay is a hindrance to them and not a good thing.

Modern Art is extremely useful for laundering money. Since art is worth whatever people will pay for it you can use it to do this fairly easily.

Luckily I find it a bit easier to still find enjoyment in things i've played before the fandom ruins it, hope you guys have good luck with this though.

Why is there more memes about how "ruined" the cuphead fandom will get than bad fans? It's almost like people actually want the cuphead fandom to be ruined. This isUndertale went down, it wasn't "the kids" who made them unfamous, it was the very vocal elitism, especially about playing the game "right" (aka pacifist only). Ricky and Morty went the same path.

"Bad things" exist in every fandom, but most people don't care because you don't hear the fans braging about being better than others. It's always the same thing, someone points at porn/OC/shipps and say "Woah look everyone our fandom is finally ruined!" and the other person says "Meh, all fandoms are bad anyways..."

I even found this meme that summarizes what i see online:

We technically have roadmaps of earlier fandoms and their initial claims to fame followed by their descent into shitdom. I guess people just want to steer clear of potential pitfalls, even if they drive the fandom into one in a fit of paranoia.
