If it's just consensual incest, there is a chance that he will receive probation. Others in VA have gotten this before. However, it would certainly include a no-contact order between Chris and Barb which means that he won't be going back to 14BC any time soon.

But there are signs that it wasn't consensual. Even putting aside speculation about Barb's mental state, there is also the fact that Barb herself has not been charged. Usually, both parties would be charged unless one was the victim. So VA has some belief that Barb was the victim here and Chris was the aggressor.

He hasn't been hit with rape charges yet and so it's not definite. But if rape charges do come into play, probation suddenly becomes less likely and will almost definitely be off the table.

This is something to think about. Has Chris's time in prison so far been a sobering experience, or will he just cling harder to the Dimensional Merge? Honestly I'm not even sure he even understands the situation he's in, as during his first court appearance all he seemed to care about were his toys. But that was a week and some ago.

We can only speculate about what he's going through (unless we can trust that unreliable autistic insight that Chris confessed already on tape according to reddit) but what the Gunt recorded on camera when he was shouting things at chris whilst being taken away in the cop car, he was essentially saying "I'm complying, I'm good", "I continue to stand with cwcville, the Sonichus, Rosechus and everybody" and "The merge is happening right now, we're living in it", it doesnt exactly paint a pretty picture that he entirely understood the severity of the situation all the way up to that point.

I guarantee you that if the EPO ran out after 5 days and for whatever reason, and Barb was not actually admitted anywhere or she was allowed to return to her residence, Chris would have waltzed right back into the hoard like nothing had ever happened to him and would have thought that the entire event was all an elaborate scheme by dah haters to make him end up missing the convention in some sort of way.

Chris has gotten away with most of his shitty behavior in life because it's been free of consequences. Being in a place where his ass is gonna be beaten if he annoys people may teach him the true meaning of "kick the autistic" and help him learn to moderate his behavior. Even Chris can probably figure out not to have a manbaby temper tantrum on the floor after the second or third time it gets him a fist to the mouth by some other inmate who doesn't have time for his shit.

Chris getting beatings in jail/prison for throwing man baby tantrums will be like trying to teach a slow in the mind rat not to go after food that's been charged with electricity. It'll keep on biting and going after the food even after you shut the current off because it's lost/never had the ability to learn WHY it's feeling pain.
The inmates could beat chris within an inch of his life a thousand times and he'll never ever learn to get with their program. He'll just screech and wail louder and harder maybe even move on to shitting himself as a defense mechanism but never adapt or change his behavior. Chris is like a living embodiment of everything Darwin said about life forms that don't change or adapt to a certain environment.

Moving him elsewhere is the more likely scenario. He has living relatives who could potentially sue if he's killed in jail on the grounds that the County and / or State should have known better than to put a vulnerable autistic transwoman in with the general population. Sure, his extended family thoroughly dislikes him, but money is money.

However, the likelihood of him being moved to a psych ward or similar is probably next to, if not actually, zero. Apart from the fact that there's little capacity available, unless he's engaging in self-harm (read: trying to off himself), he'll probably just end up in a solitary cell.

But when the gravity of all this hits home, and the idea that he has truly lost everything takes hold, and it will.. Chris isn’t actually creative enough to live in fantasy candyland full time, I can absolutely see him opting for the path of least resistance.
