What's the point? He made a comic about Pikachu and Sonic mixed, made it all about himself and his 'love quest' to find a 'boyfriend free girl', has lived a life where he has never truly been challenged and lives like a child at age 30. Equating Chris to a regular mentally ill person is silly, he's far from it. He's meant to be high-functioningly autistic, yet his upbringing has made him worse off than most regular mentally ill people and yeah, it's entertaining to watch and document.

If someone else who happens to be mentally ill does something of equal calibre, then yeah I'll use my free time to type up some wiki articles about the person. And it's not an inalienable right to put something publically on the internet and then not have it documented, and it's not stalking either, it's accessing information that is willingly put online.

As Marvin and Null said in less words, if you don't like it: leave.

It's actually just the CWC section which baffles me. It basically is a lolcow itself.
I know of cwc since the very early days (~200 but I was never obsessed and only checked every once in a while when something bigger happened. I know enough of him to get the overall picture.
But some absolute gobshites like this lip-somethingsomething & other know- it-alls in this thread discrediting other wiki contributors out of the blue who invested time & effort because they claim to be the new age inner-circle (this is what autism looks like) calling them passive aggressive names in the most smug way because naturally they know better. It's just black or white and no room for other opinions because who cares about them weens & a-logs. Granted, every forum has those holier than thou gobshites (often mods) but holy shit do some of you put it up to eleven.

Like I said, no self-awareness at all.

I honestly do not mind the ween parts, the problem is that most of the articles are out of date, especially now with the Tomgirl saga in full blow.

What is needed is more of an update for new stuff than a rewrite of old stuff.

Eh, the a-log shit of the past is pretty annoying. People are trying to make a break with that, and yeah, occasionally, they overcompensate in the other direction.

However, this thread is just for discussion about plans to revise the cwcki. We're just throwing around ideas, nothing in this thread is permanent.

I talked about my attitude about reforming the cwcki a bit more elaborately in another thread:

We should be prioritizing documenting Chris content. Recording facebook posts and things like that.

Additionally, as we slowly clean up a-logging, we don't want to eliminate all jokes at Chris' expense. We can still keep the cwcki fun. You can still laugh at Chris, just use your best judgement. The jokes should be a bit more sophisticated than "Lol, i betcha Chris pooped himself when that happened!"

As a noob, I'd appreciate it if there was some clarification on what exactly was real and what wasn't. Chris doesn't seem to follow it, if he ever did, so I don't think worrying about him reading it is an issue. I.e., I've heard people say that Clyde Cash was multiple people, or that Vivian Gee was Clyde, and none of that's on the Cwcki. It's like it can't decide if it's written from an in-universe perspective or an out-of-universe perspective.

The attempted doxxing would be another place where it's good to clarify those things. I'm kind of dumb, and didn't really recognize any of the other lolcows, so it wasn't until it was explicitly stated that I realized it was all fake.

Clyde Cash was one person. Clyde played Vivian, but I don't know if that should necessarily be put into the cwcki because there's no documentation of it.

The cwcki, I think, is written based on as much as can be confirmed through established sources. Once those sources have been exhausted, people generally fuck around and write a lot of tongue-in-cheek stuff, which is probably the source of a lot of confusion.

My main suggestion would be to have a page that has the content organized chronologically, like in a timeline.

The CWCKI is awesome because it has all this content, but it's hard to navigate through the events to understand when they occurred. So having a page that would be organized like a typical Wikipedia biographic - Birth, Early Life, Teens, PVCC, Tomgirl, Tranny, etc. Within each section, the content could link to other pages with more detailed information, just like in Wikipedia.

This way, readers can understand the entire timeline of the major events and use it as a jumping off point to other content.

~ There are various things on the CWCki that are really outdated. One is a photoshop on the "Chris and Hair" page that shows Chris bald and says something like "Chris in 5 years" because people were teasing him about thinning hair. It's clear that Chris is not going to go bald anytime soon, so that should be off that page.

~ Make the names and "characters" more clear, and don't refer to them from Chris' point of view. Weens are just as gullible as Chris is and it only confuses them when they read the CWCki for the first time. There are a series of pages that refer to Chris as Ian Anderson without explanation (because lulz) and it's not funny anymore. Maybe just one page that clearly explains all IBA references and then a standardization of naming Chris on all other pages (call him CWC, Chris, whatever).

~ A-Logging and judgement should be removed because it reflects badly on everybody here. Facts about Chris should be presented without judgement, and jokes should actually be funny. Saying "Chris is a horrible shitty person because he's messy" is less funny than "Chris doesn't mind the company of his trash"

I still think we need a "starting point" or something linked from the front page that could give readers an overview of his life and how to navigate the site. On this page, we could link to the timeline and the sagas page so people could do a more detailed dive. The timeline and sagas are great because all the detailed information is already there. Now it's just a matter or organizing and presenting it. I think you'd also want to link to the "essay" part of the site "Chris and his mindset" - my favorite part of the site.

Gonna put my editor hat on here and say that the main thing it could benefit from is some cut-downs. There's a lot of times where a page will follow up something ridiculous Chris did with a joke that just isn't as funny, because nothing is as funny as Chris' real life.

Even now, stuff from years ago that most of us haven't seen will get posted if it gets slow around here. How are any of us plebs supposed to help update it when half the time we don't even know what's true anymore?

The cwcki isn't about documenting most or even a lot of Chris' life. It's about what's public and verifiable. What's public is actually a small portion of Chris' life. Chris isn't a reality show.

Edit: To the people rating me optimistic: no, seriously, right now, Chris is out doing dumb shit that you'll never hear about. People on here think they have a much bigger handle on Chris' activities than they actually do.

I'd honestly like a more detached approach, kind of just stating the facts without trying to state some conclusions.

Let's face it, with a history like Chunkys we don't need to twist or embellish just the bare facts alone are awesome.

I've done a page or two (I did the Rob Bell page last) but my free time is pretty limited now. Someone should have told me that even after your married the wife will still demand 90% of your free time.
