To Chris' credit, streaming with the mic off is a fairly common mistake, although one that he'll hopefully rectify in possible future streams. And while Chris isn't probably at his most creative when playing a game that doesn't allow a better access inside his autistic mind, I guess the most important thing would be that he would be doing something he enjoys and would just talk stuff that's on his mind while he's playing. So while this particular instance was a miss, it's a net positive as a whole.

This reminds me of the video Chris uploaded about Brutal Legend which for some reason didn't pick up any audio. He then proceeded to upload it and leave it active for a day despite the video having no sound.

I wonder what weird and wonderful factor caused Chris to be interested in Destiny in the first place however. Usually he gets attracted to the games he plays for some strange reason, there's bound to be a story behind this one.

My sides hurt, How did he forget to turn the mic on? Provided a good laugh, but I actually wanted to hear what Chris had to say (believe it or not)

Maybe this'll teach him to read chat next time.

...once he learns how to read chat.

The game will force him to cooperate with other players and play with them in the PvP arena to earn decent weapons.
This will be interesting for how he will react and if weens will try to bother him.
Also expect him to waste money on emotes and on disc dlc.

23 minutes of gameplay and watching Chris silently move his lips because he's too stupid to turn on his mic.

Perhaps there IS some shit that's too minor.

This mistake is apparently common, and Chris is famously dumb.

"Chris can't read, dooooohohohoho"

Are the chat comments anything other than "Turn on your mic" "Die, tardmonster!" and ":julay:"?

Even though I realize that Chris is completely immune to any kind of constructive criticism, somebody who has direct contact with him should mention the possibility of interacting with the chat. As the LBP video showed, if Chris's train of thought isn't guided in any way, the end result is pretty much him yammering incoherently.

I am absolutly NOT surprised that he would live stream without even realising his mic is off. I expect him to do it a couple more times before he rectifies this issue.
