Hm, I guess you have a point. I never saw the guy take himself that seriously, then again Cyberpunk 2020 was made in the 80's so such edgy shit was seen as normal.

Beat me to it. I saw the screeching and was like 'wait, isn't Pondsmith... yes, yes he is black'. Fucking hilarious.

It would amuse the hell out of me if CP2077 took a passing cheap shot at Shadowrun at some point in the game, though. Those two were set to battle it out as to who had the best 'dystopian future' and SR only won because R. Talsorian suffered severe financial problems (and I say this as a big ol' SR fan).

I've played through plenty of FPS RPGs that had passable combat. I don't care. I'm not there for the FPS part. If that's what you want, fine. And every time the FPS and combat sucks, someone mods it to make it better anyway, so this is a pointless issue. I'd rather have them put the work into the RPG part, have passable combat and a modder re-work it to be better than being an empty RPG. And if you're just going to pirate the fucking thing, why should I even give a shit what you have to say? Or even fucking listening? You're not buying the fucking thing or supporting the studio. So you've got 0 stakes in anything. So anything you say is ultimately pointless because you're not consuming the product, you're stealing it. Nobody is going to listen to your concerns. And stealing it from one of the only good studios left.

Whining about shit you're going to steal. Sad. Sad that shitposting and trolling has reached this level. Since I know the response this is going to get, I've prepared a short monologue in advance:

Then you have low standards and that's okay but don't complain when someone criticizes something that makes up 90% of a game's playtime, especially when the remaining 10% barely classifies as a game and could be watched on youtube for a near identical experience.

Yeah I didn't nor am I gonna give the dev money so I can't say their game looks like a bland amalgamation of AAA trends that does nothing new or interesting and is probably gonna play even worse given CDPR won't fix their retarded way of implementing levels.


Fun fact, cyberpunk 2020 doesn't have character levels at all and that's why I was excited for the video game before I saw actual footage.

While you are technically correct, what Cyberpunk 2020 does have is various skill systems and IP (improvement points) which are used to level up specific skills. Which in a way can be considered as leveling up, as you get points to sink into various skills your character posses. An as I recall you really like raging about a game, specially an RPG, involving skill checks of specific abilities.

I'm just gonna play dress up with the character creator then uninstall after a couple hours unless a miracle happens and CDPR learns how to make a good video game.
Don't be mad because someone doesn't like your favorite brand and doesn't feel like wasting money on it.
