I always thought it would have been better if Jackie been the one possessed by Silverhand.
 
I'm kind of playing this on the ps4 but I feel the stats & weapons screens are too small, maybe I need new glasses. I didn't mind the first fight scene but it seems kind of convoluted, especially compared to a more fluid game like Rage 2.

I always thought it would have been better if we got the incredibly empathetic Silverhand portrayed in Never Fade Away in the actual TTRPG book. Imagine having someone who actually gives a damn about other people in your head instead of a narcistic borderline sociopath.

See, that's wasted opportunity to find out if it's actually Silverhand or just how the internet - or whatever the fuck it's called in Cyberpunk - viewed him as. Like say the company was actually trying to recreate him like a false agent for their personal use. The man was a legend and having his backing would have been a huge boon. So they create a scraper that collects all the stories and legends of Silverhand and they're all just him being a badass sociopath instead of who he actually was. So you slowly unravel that Silverhand really is dead and the one in your head is just a fake which triggers a... an exploit - that I would call a fluke - and it starts to shut down in a literal sense over the realization which stops the override as the program decides to delete itself. Kind of a safety switch in the event it finds out it's not real it doesn't go rogue. Could call it the "Deus Ex Machina Code" for shits and giggles.

But nah, gotta jizz all over Pondsmith's OC.

If you get the blond hair and slap that over the red-orange tank top its massive how much better he looks. Much less like some wrinkly old guy and more like a rocker who was taken away at his prime.

Actually that's a decent point. Isn't Johnny Silverhand in his late 20's early 30's at the time of his death? Reeves looks too old for that part.

I'm not sure on when exactly he was born, but that seems right. There's zero reason for us to have old, wrinkly, hairy Keanu. Mocap and voice, sure. But the face? Not at all. Honestly considering Silverhand is a Central American War vet with Sandevistan ware I'm disappointed he never takes over and we go John Wick on people. IMO that Relic part of the Attribute and Skills screen would have been for synergies like that, especially since it slides out like you can click on it, but got cut once they realized they needed the game out the door yesterday.

It's pretty fucking edgy. You can kill, betray, and mutilate pretty much everyone and it's possible for female V to get raped. There are serial killers, pedophiles, drug addicts, and amoral sociopaths of all stripes.

I've actually always found it funny that Gamergate types whine about CDPR going woke because this game has a ton of faults but being woke is not one of them. This is not a politically correct game at all.

You can make Female V with a cock or Male V with a vagina but it has absolutely zero bearing on the game and is not acknowledged or brought up in any of the dialogue quest or otherwise.

As for LGBT propaganda there really isn't a whole lot. Judy and Eva are lesbians in a relationship but it's not shoved in your face.

The only other prominent LGBT character I can think of is there's a quest chain revolving around the sale of pedophilic rape/murder BD's involving young boys and the pervert at the top is a stereotypical flaming gay twink danger hair with a green goatee. Basically every dialogue option involves punching him and naturally you can murder him.

I did 100% of the side quests and a good chunk of the gigs and I can't say I ever saw overt troon/LBGT propaganda. Like I said before this game has fuck tons of problems but this isn't Far Cry 6 where the troon character is shoved into the main quest and made one of the most important characters for whatever fucking reason.

Unplayable on Ps4 and Xbone. It runs at around 15 fps, 75% of the background npcs have been removed, and it crashes constantly. If you have a high end PC or laptop it more or less runs fine although you will experience crashes. I will say although I think it's an ok game this is not a deep story driven rpg. This is a Far Cry style open world action game with lots of map markers to clear and light rpg elements.

This is a very hard game to recommend because it's only ok/good under very very specific circumstances.

Tl'dr yes I think this is worth playing but only if you have a mid/high to high end PC and can get it on sale for thirty dollars or less.

Where's the female V rape? I played through as female V and didn't come across that.

You're forgetting the tranny bartender and her tranny mobile. I mean the tranny mobile is fun because it can drive over cars but still...

I don't think I got to the top of the pedo BD quests. I know there were the father/son pair that edited them, and there was a Tyger claw who I didn't notice in a side gig that I brutally murdered (same mission you get the legendary nekomata crafting blueprints). Is there another stage?
