I agree with Sargon's capo, it's downgrade after downgrade and they're wasting their time with that anime.

I see three options for this game
1. A solid rpg with old school Blizzard polish (optimistic)
2. An amazing rpg that barely works (New Vegas)
3. Daikatana 2
I'm fine with both 1 and 2.
Honestly I'd take fallout 4 at this point. I think the lack of tangible gameplay outside of closed doors either is really low confidence or really shit marketing. It honestly could be a mixture of both.I see three options for this game

edit: HDKirin did not mention that Akira Yamaoka worked on Snatcher so the guy has experience with Cyberpunk
They are 100% at the phase where their just fixing bugs. Journos definitely got buggy versions. Also, QA testing sandbox games takes for forever and is incredibly difficult. It's why Fallout/GTA launch with so many bugs despite a shit ton of polish (assuming your game isn't made to be fixed by mods). If I hearing this right: The game is 100% finished and journalists have full release copies of the game. Yet they inexplicably delay it for the public for nearly half another year.
I don't know anything much about game development but what is wrong with sending patches like games of the past did if the reason is bugs? Do they also not have a dev menu to speed up on finding bugs?

The only thing i did not like is the definition of Edgerunner, if you read the description on the website is just Shadowrunners with another name
Yeah, Cybergeneration was where I walked. Holy shit, the fucking fluff text for that made me just roll my eyes.Cyberpunk 2020 was very solid. They then tried to branch out to Cybergeneration, the millennial version of the edgerunners who were all nanite-enhanced and eco-conscious with a stronger anti-corp message, but it didn't do well. THEN they went to Cyberpunk 3, which used hilarious photos of action figures and random staffers for the art, which completely tanked.

I still play 2020 with my group from time to time. Its good stuff although some new people fail to understand that taking a sword to a gun fight isn't a great idea in a gutter trash campaign.Cyberpunk 2020 was very solid. That's an interesting point. I know Jim Sterling and JonTron got some cameos.Because let's players, for whatever reason, being shoehorned into popular video games is the cool new thing right now. In Red Dead Redemption 2 if anyone recalls, Geoff and Jack from Achievement Hunter were the voices for the tellers at a post office and hotel in the Valentine town. I guess companies see these guys as great promotion if they put people who play their games in.

As far as fads go, it's not the worst. It's a cameo that will either stand out like a sore thumb, or be tasteful enough that most people won't realize. It can be distracting, sure, but at least it's not badly made stealth or underwater levels.
Like you said, it's basically free promotion. I doubt these guys cost as much as having David Duchovny, Michael Biehn, or Robert Patrick did back in the day. Plus they have Keanu on board, compared to him Coxx probably did the role for bus fare and a happy meal. And as @SiccDicc said, it's going to be make the game age like fine wine when they're inevitably accused of sexual assault or go full Shia LaBeouf. Fuck, Coxx is already on thin ice after the "are traps gay" drama so I'm surprised they chose him.
Sign my online Petition to get DSP in Cyberpunk 2.
According to the second video, Jesse Cox's appearance involve you driving him to a "dick modification" clinic because the surgeon screwed up the surgery and he's in constant pain. Imagine petitioning and sucking cock to get inserted into a game, and they put you in and make your avatar have dick problems.Probably because he sucked their cocks.
What a terrible choice, though. Way more entertaining options out there.

Or Studio Trigger was just backed up. They’re the studio most likely to take up western projects.Guess their little Netflix special went well if they're doing an animoo. Its a bit weird that their tie in happens so long after release, maybe they plan on having some DLCs around that time and are hoping for a boost?
