Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

If I can shoot Jesse Cox's character I'm fine with it.
You don't, but IIRC you get to drive his ass to the doctor because he's penis enlargement/modification went wrong and it feels like it's burning. That female ex journalist who commented on IGN rating score mentioned that it when she explained her experience with 4-5 hours of the game.

I know I‘m probably late on Cyberpunk 2077 since I’m rating posts dating back to almost two months ago, but I sometimes do forget that this game is going to exist come the holiday season.

Have people forgotten about this game already, or are they still excited that they don’t care about what the critics have to say? I’d say that it reminds me a little bit of Deus Ex: Human Revolution for some reason.

For me it's hopeful that it does well, but curb expectations. It so far is the 2nd game on my list this year, but I'm going to wait for a few trusted reviews before I buy. Was previously ready for a disappointment and to skip it but the few 4-5 hour descriptions by Youtubers made me think it is still worth getting.

We got two new trailers here. First one is "Postcards from Night City". You know the future is dystopian when MTV still exists, honestly.
The second is "Gangs of Night City".
The URL that was shown in the postcards video actually works It's just a bunch of lore fluff of Nightcity with fake pop up ads advertising a some of the companies we'll see in the game AND a Body Count at the top of the page

How big of an impact do you think HDD vs SSD will really make for this game?
It's hard to say, other than a general "faster loading times" statement. The impression I get from the information that I've seen so far though indicates that the games geographical area will be smaller than the Witcher 3's was, while taking 120 hours(estimated)to complete the main story. I think that makes the game longer than Witcher 3 was at launch, anyway the smaller overall map size would likely mean faster load times, but that's just speculation.

So long as it's nothing really crucial, I can deal with slower load times.

On a side note I like how there seems to be an Idiocracy influence with the advertising, I wonder if we can chow down on an EXTRA BIG ASS TACO!? Welcome to Carl's Jr, fuck you, I'm eating!

How much RAM do you have? What kind of CPU do you have? Both impact how fast your system will handle data pulled from your slow as dirty hard drive.

If you can afford an SSD (They are $$25 for 250GB on Amazon) to run this game vastly better.

That being said I'll be having my Xbox Series X which will give me 4k, Ray Tracing, 60FPS , all without having to bother with shit that comes with a buggy PC release, which this will be.

Do you think next CD Projekt Red will tackle more R Talsorian like Castle Falkenstein (steampunk to Cyberpunk's cyberpunk) or... Teenagers From Outer Space?

I think it'll be worth it for the worldbuilding and immersive experience.

Aside from DX, are there any other AAA cyberpunk open-world games out there? And DX isn't even a true open world.
