Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

So they tried "improving" the game by doing the same thing that makes Bethesda RPGs feel like pointless treadmills?

I can't play Skyrim without MorrowLoot and fixed area level mods; if I understand the snippets correctly, then to me this is worse than nothing.
Static levels on a grand total of 2-3 different enemy types and level based damage multipliers were complete cancer and made for a game that gets more boring the longer you play it.

I assume most things still suck but at least they're slowly learning that all the hubub abut witcher 3 wasn't because of the mechanis.

Adding cool downs to health items and nerfing skill trees just reeks of clueless trannies not knowing how to make a game good beyond making it as tedious and boring as their shitty lives.
I don't know what the difference with skill trees is since I stopped putting points into them later on in the game but infinite regen health items was shit in bethesda games and it was shit in cyberpunk.

"2.0 is so hype. Best game ever!"

Go to steam charts.

About 1/4 of the players on compared to BG3.

*Edit* fwiw BG3 is like double of Starfield still. Lol.
I don't get this line of argument for single-player games, this was like how journoscum was talking about Elden Ring dropped in player size. Like nigger, player count only matters for multiplayer games to gauge long-term retention of those games, not single player games that you don't need other players for.

Can we all just finally admit that CDPR had one good game in Witcher 2 and everything before and after has been either bad or good/decent but a glitchy mess? Even Witcher 3 still has bug issues to this day, and though Cyberpunk may not be as broken as it was, its still a complete wreck.

I'm curious to play it again following the update. Actual cop AI and shit is a nice addition but the new perks and leveling changes seem like a mixed bag.

In particular FUCK level scaling. Absolute shit mechanic that keeps cropping up in games since Oblivion and it was shit there, it's certainly shit now.

If they patch in the ability to turn that shit off I'd be a happy man.

The audio when I'm driving completely fucks up now and sounds like it's stuttering constantly. I'm above the CPU requirements still so I have no idea why audio is so bad now when driving.
Are you on Windows? Perhaps it's the audio output that is in the wrong quality. I had that issue a couple of months ago with FxSound and the audio coming out of Windows 10.

Why Witcher 2? If it was so great, why did they have to release an "Enhanced Edition" only a year later to overhaul the gameplay and UI?

They've always been terrible at gameplay, it shouldn't have taken them until 2015 to make a game with only mediocre combat.

Witcher 2 was also riddled with terrible QTEs.

I'm also interested in knowing why. I think it's the weakest of their four games. The branching narrative with mutually exclusive second acts were cool enough, but either 1 or 3 do things a lot better.

reminder that cdpr did the absolute piece of shit pc port for saints row 2. they have always been shit who luckied it out with w3

That was CDP Black, what was left of their localization studio when they still only did bitch work.

Witcher 2 for me was the most stable and finished to me. I’m not the most qualified on the Witcher honestly, I tried all of them and was never impressed. People were telling me for years that they were some of the best games ever and I never understood why.

That implies that Canadians are any better at games, or that Bostonians are good at anything besides alcoholism.
Neither are good. Washington state actually has some talent (regardless of your political views) and they’re in touch with developing games and the industry (Nintendo of America and Pajeetsoft are situated there)

I'm not seeing the AI improvements yet. Enemies still seem to have tethers where they'll all bunch up in a doorway or flight of stairs and allow me to whittle them down from a safe position.

I'm pleased with pretty much every change I've found so far, but as expected it's still the same core experience.

3 years and it's all mostly variable changes, that's fucking funny.

For anyone wondering, no they didn't add any activities like cyberbowling or some shit.

But - it's still eternally leaps better than starfield. At the very fucking least the NPCs aren't staring at you retardedly.
