For those that don't know, think of picking up a cup, and realize what it takes to make something simple look simple in development. That is a static object being manipulated, and companies still struggle. Now imagine sex, and all the moving that goes into that, from both sides. That's months of extra dev time for just 1 scene.

I can compare footage from the trailer to Ps5/4 footage all I want, but until the PC version comes out, why should I be concerned with less sharp visuals on console? That's not indicative of a downgrade, that just points towards console footage being console footage. Even if the PC version does have LOD issues, Witcher 3 ini tweaks helped a lot in that regard and with shadows. I'd expect the same probably.
Also, yeah I'm gonna flex for having a 3080. I was stuck with a meme 970 shitter since that launched. No way was I falling for Nvidias shitty memes again with first gen rtx cards or 8K GAMING 3090 crap

Just never looks good for a company. Especially when their "console" footage from 2 weeks looks better than ths release version. Even on PS4 pro.

Eh witcher 3 took a bit to get running right with post patch stuff at the time gfx wise.

Also just having a 3080 doesn't mean there is no hiccups. The gigabyte OC edition has some of the most stable clocks where as other have better but there not stable at higher clocks and get more drops and even crashes. Then there is if you got good silicone.

I have a 3080 and will be shocked if I get 60 fps with rt in 4k.

That game turned out fine. Combat looks like its at least Witcher 2 tier in terms of quality which is playable. Hopefully late game combat develops as well as Witcher 2's.

Yeah, but it seems like you're coming at this with tempered expectations. Many others are treating this like the second coming of messiah, and often with no real clear idea of what this game is. We're just pointing out mystery box is oozing a brown liquid and smells like shit and, in lieu of getting people to actually change their minds, sitting down to watch the show when they see what's actually in the box.

Every part of that scene - sound, designs, animations, music, editing - felt like it was created by a different team with no knowledge of what the other teams were doing aside from them all making a sex scene together.

The consoomer meme is alive in well. Sad part is the only reason we have lootbox dlc pass fiestas is because fucking retards keep paying for them- and now they have been around so long it has basically become normalized.

But damn it feels good to be a pirate these days.

For all the praise people throw at valve they normalized it the most with tf and dota while also having to have a entire country to step to them to have to give out refunds.

The entire industry is fucked.
