Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

Nobody had a seizure because of Cyberpunk, videogames have never ever been linked to seizures and the 1 case where a kid had a seizure after "playing Mario" has been medically disputed for a very long time(that's actually why they warn people still, legal liability). The only way to hurt yourself like that playing a videogame is if you do it consecutively for days.
This is very blatantly nothing more than a political hitjob.

This kotaku article and all the hype around it is baseless, if this person was already predisposed to having seizures they need to take responsible measures like wearing sun glasses before, not creating a witch hunt days before release.

[Update - 1:51 p.m. ET, 12/8/20: The game’s EULA does include a seizure warning but does not appear when regularly booting up the game. We’re unable to confirm if it appears upon the very first boot-up after installation

That Misty chick is ugly. What is it with these people and facial shapes? Do they all model them after Brie Larson's face?
She is an homage to a character in the original Blade Runner.

The "journalist" who had the seizure is obese with blue hair and problem glasses. Like most sjws I take her words with a very heavy grain of salt.

According to wikipedia (which may be false) it does seem to be a real thing, but it doesn't go into detail about how long it has to be.

Either way, if I had a disease that can get me killed if I watch flashing lights, I'd probably have some common sense and expect flashing lights in an action game. And I would guess that there's also websites where people suffering from this can go for specialized movie/game reviews. I mean you wouldn't risk your life just to play the latest consoomproduct right?

Media is treating Trannypunk 2077 like they treat Trump at this point. Any flaw magnified because of the agenda.

To me it seems like only the basic framework of the game is on disc. I'm expecting the day 1 patch to fix a lot of this shit. Don't quite understand why everyone is saying it's the biggest disappointment.

Although, this might just be me coping
Optimistic for day 1, but a few weeks/months later, maybe.
Games Journalists should get the rope learn to code.
(Open world game)

(Doesn't let you continue playing after the ending)
This is going to sound like cope, but I never really understood why people are so insistent on that.

I haven't read the CP ending spoilers, but in a general sense, but New Vegas has endings that have huge, lasting consequences for both the character and the world around them. I doubt people really want to spend hours playing the player characters retirement where all the major conflicts are solved, and factions tie up the loose ends while you relax at the Lucky 38?

The argument that they want to 100% the rest of the side quest doesn't hold up either because the game tells you when you reach the point of no return.

The claim is that CDPR coded an actual epilepsy test into the game in an unskippable portion of the main quest. I am ready to believe it because CD Projekt Red has made a terrible glitchy game that satisfies nobody, and I can absolutely believe that the low iq niggers who worked on Andromeda would think it was a good idea to code something like that into the game because "muh realism."

It's most likely not true but my god wouldn't it be funny if it was? CDPR has been owning themselves repeatedly over this game for years now, them putting a real life epilepsy test into the game and then being shocked when an epileptic has a seizure as a result would be a wonderful cherry on top.

Yep as always. And that other torrent claiming it's the game in a RAR archive, doesn't have the correct file structure, and has a possible trojan payload.

Reasons why retard trannies need to shut their mouths, advocating for priacy of a game that isn't out yet.

"advocating for piracy is BAD now"

BS. No one should buy Trannypunk 2077. That's what makes this situation so funny, we're finally getting a look at the game thanks to streamers like that Carlos guy and the game is a mediocre mess that's more akin to FO76 then a real game. CDPR should not be financially rewarded by the retarded trannies and niggers that now make up the gaming community but they most certainly will be anyway.

If you're going to play Trannypunk then for the love of God just pirate it, don't give CDPR you're money.

Didn't most games that came out in the 90's have an epilepsy warning in the manual? I guess it was a 'just in case' thing to prevent any lawsuits.
And why should companies cater to people that are unable to play the game (because disability is a thing and no, not every game can be made to suit someone with every disability. If you're deaf, there are subs, but nobody will do a detailed description for the blind.)

To all you granny lovers out there Rogue is apparently a love interest too.

There is a side quest that take her out on a date, but Johnny is in control of V the entire time. Its the same side quest that lets you have the option of getting a tat. Its also the mission in which you get Johnnys car, you also get to see his corpse. Its like that mission in TW3 dlc, but not as funny.

Why are all the romance options so haggard and old? In the Witcher 3 even the prostitutes in the slum brothel were good looking. I mean yea it's a dystopia but you can still probably buy moisturizer in one of the dildo stores right?

Eh, I can excuse the PTSD. By that point Shepard had seen a lot of shit, and if you see too much shit your mind starts to crack eventually. I actually liked that bit.

The bullshit explanation for the genocide cycle from the Godchild was the real pisser for a lot of people. Bioware spent three games building up the Reapers as this unstoppable force that had incomprehensible motives for the slaughter... the "AI bad" motive they cobbled together last minute was just cheap and made it all seem like a waste while at the same time completely obliterating the eerie, Lovecraftian vibe the Reapers gave off. What's so incomprehensible about "AI bad"? And to top it all off you had the kool-aid ending?

That's enough of me being a derailing faggot, anyway. I just want to get back to laughing at another AAA failure.
First, the issue people had with the PTSD stuff was that its this kid Shepard has no real connection to at all that haunts their dreams. If anything it would be the teammate that died on Virmire with Shepard chasing after them for forgiveness, and you end up coming to terms with their loss as part of it and get to move forwards. A Paragon mourns and moves on, a Renegade hardens their heart as it was just the price of victory.

Second, the reason the ending and all of that is so fucking bullshit is because a couple of hack writers sequestered themselves in a room and presented it as a fait accompli to the rest of the team at a point in game development when they had to go with it because there was no time left to write an actual good ending. It was not submitted to any group criticism, editing, or suggestions, and was shoved in at the last minute.

Just one... just one fucking normal romance interest for the love of God...
I think Panam is supposed to be that. From what I'm seeing she's the only romance option that seems to have a unique ending with Male V, but obviously it's too early to tell whether she's actually the only one.

Though personally when I eventually pirate this game in several months time after it's in a somewhat playable state, I'm just going to ignore any romance stuff.
