Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

Some fun facts about skills and one question:

- If you hate stealthing but want to level stealth, murder everyone and just dump bodies in the dumpster. You'll automatically get stealth XP.
- Hit tab and F just hack everything. Free XP.

On that note, how the fuck do you level athletics? I'm going hacking/engineering, but I'd like to skill up athletics. All these '''guides''' online are useless day 1 empty clickbait garbage that's basically less informative than a fucking instruction manual.

Uuh so is there any penalty at all for stealing stuff? because right now it seems like I can waltz into any store/house I want and just start stuffing my pockets with loot and the npcs just stand there and do nothing.

Pretty shoddy coding on CDPR's part. Even Bethesda npcs get testy when you steal their shit.

Nope, there is no stealing. Also NPCs don't get pissed when you hack the machine they're on and it spits out garbage or gets fucked up unless they're enemies

EDIT:
Even with my playing on the hardest difficulty, I'm still going to look like a (somewhat) civilized gyspy nomad mad max gone civilized. I also find it hysterical booty shorts give higher armor than full pants.

Is this the creator of Cyberpunk who is talking?

That is a yes, its Mike Pondsmith.
Oh wow a cryptocurrency scam, that's pretty decent theming
Fuck bitcoin. Responsible for these trash graphics card launches. Can't wait until GPU mining dies. Fuck Etherium.

Hard coding paths for NPCs as if these were slot cars on a fixed track goes beyond "Spaghetti" code, this is "Diversity Hire" code. They literally have poeple working on this game that don't know how to code a basic AI so NPCs can navigate the environment on their own.

Is this for real?!
If memory serves, I don't even think YanDev fucked up that bad in terms of AI routing. He just fucked up with making them check his shit code every tick to decide where they needed to be.

Is anyone able to confirm that bare fists count as a blunt weapon and therefore benefit from associated perks?

And if there's a way to fast travel to my fucking apartment? Walking all the way around a block-sized building to *one* elevator to take it up is a pain in the dick.

EDIT: I ask because, at least on the PS4, in the quick inventory wheel, my bare fists are classified as an "Assault Rifle".

I feel stupid, how do you holster your weapon once it's out? Draw button just brings up the weapon wheel. Also I thought the motion blur was over the top but then I realized I'm just drunk.

Double-tap Draw Weapon.

On the PC you hold Alt and select the holstered option. If there's a quicker way to do it I haven't found it yet.

And, yeah, the car controls are fucking awful. Feels like I'm driving a hovercraft than something with wheels.

Happy Together is kinda fucked up. Did he really kill himself because I decided telling the cops that he was just depressed over being depressed ‘cause his turtle died would be dickish?

Frayed jean cut off shorts (increases crit damage by 15%)

PLOT TWIST: what if Cyberpunk 2077 was an excuse for Keanu Reeves to show off his acting chops for the upcoming Matrix movie that’s coming out soon?

Alternatively, VA work is probably a blast and an easy paycheck for an actor like him for whom very few expectations for gravitas exist, considering he probably doesn't need to do 25 variations on grunts of pain and dying screams like jobber VAs do.

Run, don't walk to places and you'll level up athletics.

I found a very cool Blade Runner reference.
Roy Batty at the cemetery/ memorial.
