Doubt it, Just because Derek's critics are weirdos doesn't take away that Derek himself is retarded. Derek is an extremely moronic man who is very out of touch with the world and reality.

Compared to Mr Enter, Doug, and Urbanspook, whose creators are at least more in touch with reality even if they make cringeworthy products, Derek is batshit insane who believes Cool Cat is a million dollar idea.

The things Derek has done alone makes a redemption arc utterly impossible:

  • Exploit a school shooting to get people to fund his movie
  • Pretend to be a lawyer to intimidate his critics to take down their videos
  • Abused the Youtube Copyright system to silence his critics
  • Cut ties with the original Cool Cat VA for not wanting to do the 420 awards
  • Scammed his Indiegogo campaign backers
