I just realized the icons on Blunt Boy, Doobie Dude and Lady Leaf herself look more like maple leaves than cannabis leaves.

Well, it is legal up in Canada so maybe the 420 band are secretly Canadian? Or maybe Daddy Derek is just s retard.

The 420 awards are probably the most boring thing Savage has ever done in his life. It's a Boomer/Xer idea of what's "Cool" and "Trendy" when in fact it's lame and provides nothing of interest. It would be like a Millennial trying to be an avgn clone in 2025.

He needs to think about his legacy and focus 100% on retarded Cool Cat films/scripts. Internet history is going to remember him as "the guy who made those weird Cool Cat videos" so he should just go all out.

This is surreal. I'm not sure how it hasn't been picked up by a network at this point just by how borderline meta-humor it is. It's like a WKUK or Sam Hyde skit. But then again I've heard Derek is an absolute asshole to work with.

The sheer lameness of all that is almost toxic. But I still wonder where the hell is Daddy Derek getting the money to pay for all this shit? It's gotta cost him a fair amount but I'm not seeing an advertisers, cross promotion or anything of that nature.

It's like five years now he's been doing this and if anything it's just gotten smaller, not bigger which makes me still ask, "what's his end game"? If he thinks some network is going to pick this up then he's dreaming.

Purely speculation, but I’m guessing his parents have passed away. He has no wife or kids. So he’s wasting his inheritance on some delusional fantasy of being a filmmaker. He gets minimal access to mild celebrities and can tell people he makes movies. He’s so internet illiterate I’m surprised he doesn’t advertise in the back of a magazine or sell copies door-to-door.
I also think his topics are overtly cynical, rather than creepy. Kids “movies” are by far the cheapest to make (production quality, child actors, etc) and the easiest to guilt parents into buying. Same shit with self defense for women, his erotic books. All self-serving and manipulative in their own way.
He’s just a low IQ manipulator who’s bad at scamming people. Lol. Guessing his shtick worked better in the 80s when people were naive and he was young and relatively attractive.
